Thanks. Yes had a look at the websites. Finish dates seem to be end of september or mid october for most parks. Think we will do france again this october half term!
  • Can anyone let me know how its possible to get longer than 3 or 4 days. Looking at France but wouldn't be worth my while less than a week

Hi. We had a week in france october half term just gone. I think you could select a 7 day option when you booked, ie fri-fri or mon-mon. However, We did it by booking a four night and then a three night added on, simply because we had only intended to go mon-fri which we booked in jan, but in the july round of hols or (sep,- i cant remember which) there was availability for the fri-mon so we booked that also to make a week in total.
May look to do the same this time round. Hopefully dd will have a training day on the friday or the monday at the start/ finish of the october half term so we are able to take advantage of the extra day:D
Didn't have to move accomidation either btw, even though they were effectively two seperate bookings:)

  • Can anyone recommend a good site to go to with a 3 year old and 1 year old please? we live in Nottingham so wouldn't want to travel too far.

Will definitely apply for Skegness Butlins as it has been recommended but not sure where else to go for?

Hi, I've just had a look at the booking form and it says if you don't opt to have travel insurance from the Sun you have to state which company you have your insurance with.

I think I can probably get it cheaper elsewhere but obviously can't take out travel insurance for a single trip until I know where/when I'm going! Can you just write down a random company, or do you have to provide proof of your insurance at some point?
