I bank with the Halifax at the minute and did with the TSB about 3-4 years ago - how far back can i reclaim :huh:0 -

I'm enquiring about 2 TSB accounts.
That's exactly the same as my case with LTSB. I sent one cheque, and couldn't have made it clearer that it was for 2 accounts, but they only sent out the statements for one account, the one with the least charges, adding about two weeks to my claim. Save yourself time and send two separate letters with two cheques. When I went to moneyclaim online, I informed the bank that I was claiming jointly for both accounts and just added the totals together in one claim. This has been fine.0 -

Don't accept such a small good will gesture, had it been nearer to the amount claiming it might have been worth accepting to save any more hassle but that is a bit of an insult.

Obviously because no one answered as usual, so they looked elsewhere and decided to share it with everyone. This thread has stopped being for advice.0 -
Sorry but 1/2 an hour for someone to answer a question on a Sunday evening is asking a bit much, also the link "suddenly" found is not a direct link to a registered website.0

Once the 40 days are up she will be taking the court letter road I think
Hi!
I did sent the covering letter but the one that refers to 40 days is the one that requests the Data Protection information! I got all my statements etc within two days but now I'm on my second and final letter before court!
I sent all my letters to my local branch - should I have sent them to the Head Office?!
From what I understand, they have 14 days in which to respond to 1st letter, another 14 days from second letter then Online Court!0 -
I have made a claim agaisnt HSBC for £1650 after they refused to pay after 3 letters, do you think i will have to go to court? and is there anyone here that have been to court and if so did you win/loose etc?
Im getting a bit scared now!!!!!!

If you sign up the CAG forums you will find individual boards there that cover each bank with the success stories posted or of course have a read through the MSE success stories thread for HSBC.
From post 6 in the above thread...
My tip is do not be intimidated, and don't be afraid to mention taking them to court. It certainly spurred HSBC into action for her.0
