I did a scratchcard earlier after doing my usual 10p and won £4, yay! :T I then spent £1 thinking I'd win more, and of course, I didn't. But still, £3 gained!
I am now starting to think about Christmas, even though it is only July! But best to be prepared. :santa2:
My half brother or sister is due in January, so I'd love to be able to buy a load of cute baby things. But I don't wanna jinx anything considering it might not even make it, so I'll wait til December. No one is getting anything huge from me this year, so no major saving to do. But little presents soon add up.
My Mum got a laptop for her birthday present, and I also spent £370 on a TV for her (this is why I'm still paying off my overdraft!) and I haven't decided whether it will be a gift yet. She wants to pay for me it. So she won't be getting anything big!
Change of subject... I have a really bad back at the moment and now I have to go and wash my hair... bent over the bath  Wish me luck.Total Debt (Dec 2015) £11,500 : Currently £7,675Lose 21lb : 0/21

Want to buy me presents?
For the tv, couldn't you suggest half for her christmas prezzie and half she pays back? and I'm really sorry if it's all my christmas planning that has got you thinking of Christmas
Good luck with the having washingness, Can't be much of a good thing with your bad back!0 -
Want to buy me presents?
:rotfl: I know! Considering I have no money I go a bit overboard! That is stopping this year though!
And don't be sorry, I love Christmas! And planning for Christmas is all part of the fun! :j
That's a good idea about the tv, I'll have to put it to her.
The washing of the hair wasn't too bad thank god. But there have been times recently when I'm like screaming cuz it hurts so bad! A normal person would wash their hair whilst in the bath! :rolleyes:Total Debt (Dec 2015) £11,500 : Currently £7,675Lose 21lb : 0/21

I relly wanted yesterday to be a NSD but I got to the school play 45 mins early and so I bought a magazine, some water, and some reduced pancakes cuz I was starving.
My OH did pay for the KFC though so all is not lost!
I am going out for a meal with friends tonight so that will probably cost quite a bit, but I hardly ever see them so I don't mind. Plus, I've hardly spent anything lately so I'm feeling quite pleased with myself. I have £15 left in my account and enough cash for food to last until payday! :T What I might do actually is pay for my part of the meal on my card, cuz it won't be more than £15. Then I'll still have my cash for shopping and I won't have to touch my card.
The school play was incredible, they did Bugsy Malone! I was so proud of them! Made me miss being around them and teaching them.
I have such a sore throat today, urgh.Total Debt (Dec 2015) £11,500 : Currently £7,675Lose 21lb : 0/21

Hi! Yeah it's always good to read other people's diaries I think, a bit of motivation never hurt anyone!
Lol that doesn't seem to make sense to me either, but I'm not gonna argue with it!I don't drink much so that probably helps a lot! Plus, I really wanna be able to buy a house with my OH when I finish uni so that is my target for being debt-free
Thanks Wendz, it is a nice feeling! I think it's the first month this has happened!Total Debt (Dec 2015) £11,500 : Currently £7,675Lose 21lb : 0/21

I thought my budget had gone out the window the past few days. I had £15 in my account which was for my meal out, but completely forgot I had to put petrol in. My Mum transferred £10 into my account, and after petrol, I now have £4.67 in there.
I used £10 of my food shopping budget for my meal out. And had some change in my purse. That left me £40 for the next two weeks, which is fine, but I felt like I had messed up somewhere!
Anywho, went round my Dad's last night and I owed him £10, which he said to keep. And then in return for taking my brother and sister home he gave me £10! :T
Somehow, I now have £80 to last me the next two weeks, woohoo! :j
I have the day off this Sunday so me and OH are going for breakfast, like we always do when I have a Sunday off. So at least I won't feel so guilty now about spending money on it. I've hardly seen him this week cuz we've both been so busy, and I miss him.He shaved all his hair off the other day though and I hate it! He looked so much better with the longish hair indie look! Cannot wait for it to grow back.

Yay!! Always good when things work out like that.
I had the same problem with OH and his hair Zig, it got to a nice indie style/length and he had it cut off! I don't know what goes through their minds sometimes
Glad you had fun at the school play! I thought I posted after you'd been but looking back I must of thought it up0 -
My OH says he doesn't like hairdressers!
He said he got fed up with it long so shaved it off. The sneaky git did it when I was at the school play so I wouldn't be able to say no lol.
I hate it when you think you've done something but you only thought about doing it!
I'm watching that You Are What You Eat programme, it does make you feel guilty about what you eat! She's a bit obsessive though. Last night I broke my favourite skirt by breaking the zip off, and my Dad said is it cuz your weight? 'No it wasn't Dad, but thanks for pointing out my weight yet again' I'm a size 16 and he seems to think I'm gonna die from obesity at any minute!Total Debt (Dec 2015) £11,500 : Currently £7,675Lose 21lb : 0/21
