I don't like watching that!! I love my biscuits too much.

Will you be able to fix the zip? or if the zip isn't that long you could fasten it with a safety pin? Typical when it happens to your favourite!

OH gets his mum to cut his hair, once he asked me to do it and I put the wrong clippy bit on the shaver and he ended up looking like a right thug :o Worst bit was he had an interview the next day, felt awful!

I used a safety pin last night but it didn't work very well, I'd need about 10 of them! I'm gonna take it to a tailor I think and see if they can put a new zip on.

Aw your poor OH! :o Has he let you cut his hair since?! :p

I just went on the Grabbit board and saw this offer Dorothy Perkins have got on skirts, so I've ordered 2 dresses and 2 skirts for £26! Which is a bargain so I'm pleased, even tho it means I've slipped into my overdraft. Thing is, I went to use my normal account card and it kept saying transaction declined. I'm a bit worried! Dunno whether I should ring the bank or not.

ETA - I rang the bank, and they said the system was a bit dodgy at the time, it was nothing to do with my card. So that's a relief. But then he kept banging on about how I should get a credit card for purchases online cuz it's safer and stuff. I think once my credit card has been cleared I will do that. Cuz I can always pay it off straight away, but I'm guessing I'd still have the card's protection.

Have just bought a skirt and a dress, 18 pounds altogether and free delivery. They were 38 and 28 originally so a good saving there! Naughty naughty though hehe.

That is a good saving! It's hard to resist bargains like that. I should've worked out how much I saved. My OH isn't very happy that I've been buying clothes, I'll have to tell him how much I've saved! :p

How come you have to cut your hair short for the police?

My OH is always saying 'what have you bought now' lol, but he doesn't really mind.

They just like them all to be very presentable. They have to be cleanly shaven etc every day. Think it just makes them look a bit tidier.

Credit card protection only works for purchases over £100, so sounds like he was just trying to get gullible people to take on debt!

I wouldn't be too hard on your dad, he's probably just worried about you. You know yourself size 16 is not healthy and is putting extra pressure on your heart and lungs to work harder, and he's your daddy and will want the best for you. It's really hard sometimes, I worry about my dad as he's overweight, he does exercise a lot but eats a lot too, and I just don't want him to loose him to a heart attack in his hearly 60s like he did with his mum, but weight is just this great taboo you feel unable to talk to someone else about.

That makes sense Wendz, better that they all look neat and tidy! Gives a better impression I guess!

Thanks for telling me that Dinah, I bet they manage to get so many people to get a credit card thinking they can spend whatever and it will be protected.

I know he's only worried about me, it just gets annoying hearing it everytime I see him. But I know he's right. Him and my step-mum are those annoying people who can eat whatever and never really put on weight. Last night he also had a conversation with me about what contraception I'm on, and how that could be making me put on weight and how I should give my body a rest etc. I was like 'argh, embarrassing!'. But my Mum has been saying the same thing so maybe I'll listen to them and lay off the hormones for a bit. :o

At least your Dad exercises, I don't even do that! I can understand how you/my Dad must feel though, cuz I'm the same about trying to get my Mum to stop smoking. You worry for other people's health.

I just had a nice, healthyish lunch. I had a pack of those microwave veg, and I stirfried it with some garlic, chilli, soy sauce and noodles. I'm stuffed! :p

I've decided to give myself a little fitness challenge.

I need to do 3 sessions of exercise a week. This can be either something outside, or swimming, or on the wii fit. And it has to be at least 20 minutes.

    That's the plan! :D

ETA - I have just done 50 mins on the wii fit, yay! :j

ETAA? - I just thought to myself 'woohoo today was a NSD!' and then realised I bought that Dorothy Perkins stuff online. Damn. It doesn't feel like you're spending if you're not in a shop handing over money.

I had a really good weekend. It was so nice to spend the whole weekend with OH and not worry about work. We went to the zoo on Sat and it only cost £5 instead of £25 cuz his Mum has a card thing. And then we walked down to a shop that sells kitchen stuff and it was 10% off everything so I bought a new microplane grater, and one for my sister's birthday.
And OH actually helped me cook tea! We had chicken wrapped in parmesan and proscuitto and it was lurvely. Then on Sunday we went for breakfast, then went to every shopping centre place within 100 miles I think. At least it felt like that! We were trying to find a certain phone for my brother, and some birthday presents for my sister. I don't think I spent much though. I bought the breakfast but I think that's about it. I'll soon find out when my account is updated!

I have completely overspent today. I went to ASDA to get 4 things for tea. I also had to get some birthday stuff. I ended up spending £40. :( I got some giant straws, a birthday badge, a gift bag which I filled with toiletries, underwear and choc, wrapping paper, a book, birthday cake, and some other bits. Dunno why it cost so much, but I'm telling myself that my sister is worth it. You're only 18 once I guess! :o
