I downloaded it through RBS and it works well.

BUT I also set it up manually on the address bar for my 2 other internet banks and it blocked them completely. Don't know what went wrong, but had to remove it manually from the 2 other sites before they would load again.

I don't see how it protects against keyloggers? Surely it just encrypts the traffic to/from your internet banking site?

no - it only runs on the PC. Its nothing to do with SSL or encryption down the line. It aims to prevent malware working on the PC. So even if you have a keylogger - it wont work. It runs on any site you specify.

strange - I have it working on all my banks, credit cards etc. Suggest you escalate to Trusteer.

If they have come up with a way to stop malware working, why is this not all over the news?

It doesn't actually say how it works, just what it does.

a bit of googling results in ...

    http://www.frost.com/prod/servlet/market-insight-top.pag?Src=RSS&docid=134911737

it blocks the API and encrypts the data across the PC

not sure this is correct - its not an end to end protocol, it is technology you run on your PC which prevents malware working. You can use also Rapport with any other sites you choose - not just the bank you got it from.
Some of the information suggests it performs some sort of authentication with the destination website before allowing any information to be sent. I may not be interpreting that correctly, but it seems to suggest some sort of handshake is taking place, which would consequently tip off the website that Rapport was being used.

Edit: Actually, the article you linked to in your later post suggests all it is doing is checking the DNS against Trusteer's own servers.

Just to update on this, I went in to the Rapport Console and it indicated that within a week it had blocked 6 attempted screenshot captures by netclient.exe......it went on to say that it had logged 12 attempts to log key strokes

the only netclient.exe files are one which is the company VPN and another which is Windows 'Prefetch' pf file

seems like the company are trying to collect screen shots of everything

Not sure I understand: are you saying the Rapport company is collecting screenshots, or the VPN of the company where you work?
