I have no idea what i'm expecting..I signed the deed last week, I guess I'll get a confirmation back in the next 10 days or so...

I'm in exatly the same situation, sent off the Deed of variation last Weds.
I assume you are an existing customer & just changing product.
I have yet to open a current account with them yet though, I a little worried that they might demand an A&L account number which I don't have yet.

It certainly didn't look unique, but I forget what was at the start of it, ended 399 anyway. I will check my emails tonight as I can't access them here and post it.

I applied for the 3.95% fix the other day and was rejected because its only for new borrowers. But I also got that email though and my last 3 numbers were 395 so it looks like those numbers refer to the rate 3.99=399 and 395=3.95. Hope that helps.

Yes, I have a mortgage with A&L already, and my 5 yr fix comes to an end this month. They haven't requested anything from me except the signing & witnessing of the DoV.

I don't have a bank account with them and they haven't requested it as it wasn't a requirement for this offer

Yeah, I just checked the site again and its for new borrowers only. They must still give it to existing A&L lenders though.:o

yes, I am - I know I can add it to the mortgage if I wished, but with HSBC, I couldn't - I would have had to pay upfront

Thanks for the info, we went for the 3.99 no fee product, which from memory you had to open a premier account with them. I'll check in the morning when I can get to my papers.

    Email as promised

It was sent to unidsclosed recipients so obviously a generic mass email, though that suggests they may have a record of those they think were eligible for the offer still whether by email/online application number so I guess there is no guarantee for anyone who chooses to chance it
