    I've been Money Tipped!
When we moved I vowed not to have anything like tv, radio or mobiles in my bedroom. I miss it, especially weekdays when I am home alone and would like to watch late night things in bed, but it really has worked. I recently brought the radio back n and find it hard to be disciplined about switchingit off, and even more so, not turning it on if I'm not sleeping well. So I'd have to admit that getting this sort of thing away from bed is a really good idea.

Lettuce sandwiches before bed are meant to be good...the heavy carbs from the bread and the laudanum from the lettuce.

  • I used to read in bed and fall into a really nice sleep, until I let go of the book and it hit me on the bridge of my nose and woke me up rather abruptly.

Hello to you too, your post really made me laugh out loud.....lol

I had a vision of a Hinge & Bracket lady (re your username) with some pince nes and pearls on
dropping off to sleep and being woken up rather sharply

No mate, just a really thick hard backed Stephen King, Wilbur Smith or suchlike book.

Like a mini, fatter, telephone directory.

I do sometimes wear pearl earrings though.:D

Bach Night Rescue Remedy is quite effective. Boots did gift kits of various Bach products quite cheaply last year including a sleep set, but if not this year then the Bach stuff is quite often on 3-4-2.
