  • Yesterday I broke the buckle off a belt (not while I was wearing it - LOL) and I only had one belt left to share between work trousers and a couple of non work ones. So I needed at least one more belt. Walked into Poundland this morning looking for something else and they had some. So I got 3 belts for 3 quid. Thought that was a nice deal myself.
Also, I went to work again on Saturday to earn a bit extra.
  • Ive been given a sofa from Mum and Dad for when i move out.

So thats one thing i can cross off my list.

Keep looking on freecycle but i always just seem to miss the things i could do with.

it made me laugh the other day as someone was getting rid of a pair of split flip flops??????

Any help, opinions, views I may hold those are my own. Respect them as you would expect the same in return. Offered freely, is gleaned from a lifetime of experiences, knowledge gaining. Passed on to benefit others. I may be direct, ask you questions but those are to help you. Up to you if you choose to take it. I won't judge you either way.

    Hi there,
Hope everyone had a lovely Mother's Day;) My two darlings kind of needed a moan from me and a reminder what day it was today, then I was given a cute hand painted photoframe DS2 made at Brownies and a cd, did ok bless them:D

    What else.....I have....
    • Check online banking...roll on TC on Thurs
    • scratchcards 2x 10p and 25p
    • email Tesco as they charged me £3.11 for a chicken marked £2.51:eek:
    • Took back DD2's school shoes as they wore out in 3 weeks - so bought cheaper ones from different shop;)
    • Took DD2 some choc from home into town, save buying
    • Returned a top I bought and wasn't 100% sure I liked!
    • Did a washing on half load, at 30, and dried on the line
    • Read papers online
    • no heating on today:T
That's all. Have another day off work tomorrow - I'm signed off til wed. Have doc appt on Tues morn as this pain is still there, not any better. I get so worried and convince myself it's something awful...silly I know, but I'm on my own wih my girls and I don't know what i'd do if I had to go to hosp - last time I did I had the ex around.

Anyway...enough waffling on, should post on my diary, but I don't think anyone reads that:D
I really need to sort out a new signature!
  • Happy Mother's Day to Mums, Mums to be, Grandmas etc....

It's so lovely to hear everyone's fab weekend plans/ write ups. It has been beautiful here. I've not done much DFW, but have hardly spent anything either so it's swings and roundabouts I guess.

Was taken out for lunch by my Dad yesterday which was lovely- its my birthday next week so got birthday money from him and also my Nana (yes, I am a grown-up, married and a mum to be but I'm not embarrassed to get birthday money)!

Worked today, then went to my Nana's to distrbute mother's day cards and tell them our good news. I think they might be more excited than us at the prospect of being great-grandparents/ grandparents.

Have thoroughly enjoyed having some sunshine- hope it lasts as I'm off next week. Won't hold my breath though....
