    Good morning everyone!!

Fay - that is gorgeous!!! You lucky mummy!
Longhotbath - I love the sound of your beach picnic party, much better than a hall & disco!
Sophiesmum - Great tip re: the stirring sticks for marking pots - see below....

Have been having a great weekend!!! :D

Friday night murder mystery dinner was brilliant, we had a really good time, I may have *ahem* got a teensy bit drunk - but I wasnt paying!! Thank you Dad!! :iloveyou: So woke up with a bit of a sore head yesterday!! :o

    OK, so yesterday I did......

    - Check online banking
    - Washing on line
    - Got the Daily Mirror for the free seeds - and we are now planting seeds!! DD had already done some lettuce/toms/peppers which are all on the windowsills, so we have decided to have a proper go at this, and do more veggies and plants!! So the free DM seeds was a good place to start! (Thank you again Sophiesmum for the stick tip!!)

    - Put some change in my sealed pot
    - Did a couple of surveys
    - Got £20 Next vouchers through from shop&scan & popped them in birthday cards as presents
    - Bought mothers day flowers in Sainsburys for my mum - flowers cost £8, used £5 of reward so cost £3! Lovely tulips. And the cancer charity were doing gift wrapping for small donation - so got them done up all lovely with ribbon etc.

Last night we were out again (I know I know!!) for a 30th party, local so no taxis, and cheap drinks too! Ok ok I did buy a new dress, but it was reduced and it will do for a wedding in the summer as well. But I already had shoes, handbag, wrap and jewellery that matched it - so it could have been worse!! :o ( And I felt really good in it, and that is priceless!!)

    So....on to today:

    - Check online banking
    - couple more surveys to do
    - plant some more seeds :T
    - Make packed lunches later ready for tomorrow
    - IRONING  (thats been on my list since Weds I think!!)
    - Going to mums for lunch to pick up the DDs - I've missed them, but I dont think they've missed us!!! :rotfl:
    - Have done a meal plan for this week - and intend to stick to it!

Have a grrrrreat day everyone xxxx
  • HI guys and Hi Mog chops

Sounds like a lovely weekend - being nosey does the paper have the seeds in it or do you have to send off for them?

    Sorry bit confused!

PS I am sure someone had said before that ironing was illegal _ especially on mothers day. :)

I think SM should declare it illegal today xx

Awake at 7.45 again this morning! DS woke me up to say happy mothers day and so that he could open his birthday pressies, cheeky monkey knows not to wake me up til 9am on a weekend! He loved his pressies, which is good as I was in bargain hunting mode. Should be a good day here, the sun is shining, hardly a cloud in the sky, so think I will get on and make the twinks hob nobs for mums and then sort out some picnic stuff to take to the park :j

    Today I have:
    • Breakfast from stores
    • Checked banking
    And I will:
    • Make hob nobs for MD gifts
    • Go to park with food and drinks from home
    • 2 or 3 loads of washing, will line dry
    • Check for O2 surprises
    • Check PB CT
    • Finish 1 application form online and submit
    • Meals from stores
Fay, thanks for the dw tablet info, will check out the co-ops we have here, as currently I get tesco discount brand and they are £3.49 for 40, same as Aldi, so co-op would be cheaper :T

*fanfare* I finally got my sig updated lol!

    Happy Mothers Day everyone!

    Morning All

Happy Mothers' Day! It's a lovely day for it.

Unforutnately, I can't spend all day with mum as I have to work on my assignment. I've 3000 words to write in less than 2 weeks .

    so my list for today:
    • Work on assignment for the morning
    • Lunch with OH and his parents for mothers day
    • Visit mum after lunch
    • Do a mad run around the flat to tidy
    • Put away the clothes/smalls that don't need ironing
    • Don't do any ironing as it is illegal - Don't want Sargeant SM telling me off! :p
    • Watch Lady's No Detective Agency while doing my nails
    Have a great day all,

    urg x x

Good morning guys, hope everyone is having a lovely Sunday, happy mothers day to all the mums. Today is another beautifully shiny day with gorgeous blue skies!:happyhear

Nice early start for me and we have also gone green today:j Have planted some seeds today including veg and flowers that Fay kindly sent me. thanks for all the previous advice you have given me Fay, have been busy recently so didn't get chance to say big thank you:T:T

Mogchops, it sounds like you have had a lovely weekend.

longhotbath, i also love the sound of your beach party for your 10th anniversary, sounds so much more personal. I have always said that if i get married i would do something similar as for me its about the people on the day rather than a flashy wedding.

    Today's plans:
-Planted flower seeds and veg seeds
-Wrapped in free clingfilm i got from a survey site and used old pots
-First load of washing on 30 and more planned for the day
-Towels from yesterday are out drying in the sun
-I read through my tesco mag taking out recipes and coupons that i will use next month
-I have created a new to do list for the next week or so, so i know what i need to get done
-I have created a new savings pot so that i am saving up for two things now. i haven't got my mum anything for mothers day, i will phone her as i know she will aprreciate this. However i am saving up to buy her a very expensive bunch of flowers which will be delivered to her. Am sure they are not really worth it, but my mum rarely gets spoilt rotten and has had a hard life so i want her to be treated like royalty when she least expects it. I will be going through quidco when i have the money though:rotfl:
-I have stripped the beds ready to put in the wash, including student's room ready for the new student next weekend
-I am off to do an audit in a moment
-I have checked out Somerfield website so i can see what deals they have in there so i can see what i will buy when auditing later
-Heating is off, no need for it to be on all the time, despite OH's moaning!!
-I need to buy two new tyres for my car, so will do that over the internet as its cheaper
-I will download software for works camera so i can order the photos which are important as i want them all for my special groups and for my nvq child study, saves me having to pay to get them done
    -Type up one child obs
-Write plan for story time for nvq
    -Read fave threads
-Check business emails, optimisation, and marketing
-I have started putting pregnancy massage on website and will do some more of this later
-Start filling in pregnancy case study stuff
-Make sure i buy bits for my home made lasagne for today, first time ever of making it, so will be interesting
-Spend thirty mins in the garden trying to turn it into something beautiful!!
-I will list stamps on ebay
    -Look at booking canoeing
    -Check online banking
    -Watch free film from lovefilm
-Sort out stuff for college tomorrow
-Buy some bulk stuff whilst at shop today
-Start writing up counselling notes for week 10
    -Read business thread for advice
-Continue using up old beauty products
    -Update spreadsheets and challenges
-Write letter in order to cancel car maintenance course, am going to reschedule for September, when i have more time
-Hang all stuff outside to dry
-Look into when i can give blood next
-Sort out end of month finances
-Sort out and post receipts back
    -Go through emails
    -Do some surveys
    -I will remake beds
    -Upload scanners for money!!
    -Review 101 tasks
-Type up and send back audit

Have a great day everyone and enjoy the sunshine or whatever else comes your way!:D

    Hi Fay,

The seeds are collect from Somerfield - in again today, tomorrow, tues & wed, different ones every day. Yesterday was veg, today is bedding plants, cant remember what the others are! 5 packets each day, so free seeds for the price of the paper! :j

Ironing - I've just done it all *hangs head in shame* but my excuse is the DDs arent here - so they can pamper me later!!!!:rotfl:
