Marru - no more dates planned yet??? Enjoy going walkies with 5 dogs:eek: :D

Oh yes, DD's dad called just before 3 and asked me to meet up at the services off M4 as he was running late, so rushed there (35 miles), I got 4 dogs and he got the DD but then DD wet herself and we all had to come back here to get her changed. Left ex to deal with DD and drove off with 5 dogs in my Clio to meet the lady whose dog I walk. It was great, we had 6 dogs all in all and they were playing and running. I wish I had the courage to stuff my job and do that full time. Sighs...

About the dates, unfortunately I decided that the fact that he, despite being only 4 years my junior, still lives with his parents when I left home 24 years ago. I think it is just little too big barrier to overcome. And there are couple of other things as reflexion from that. So I will give the male of the species a miss for now and try to concentrate getting myself sorted with the help of all you lovely people.

All five dogs are now snoring and after DD has gone to bed and ex left with his pack I will have some nice pizza and sherry to enjoy - bliss!!! (not to mention the Doritos, salsa and houmous....)

Gave the park a miss, instead the kids went to Nans and played in the back garden whilst I did her washing and lawn mowing, and running around after my mad nephew. Am shattered now so its easy jacket spuds all round for dinner! Have sorted all my pots out, need to hunt out the seeds next!

Oh also today I got clubcard coupons in post, have cut them out and put them in purse.
  • Well, there was one 'slip up' today. Very nearly, anyway. The dreaded thing I knew would happen sometime. My hand got threaded through the wire for my headphones, suddenly I see my new touch screen phone flying through the air, landing on the pavement. Oops! Fortunately, it's still working; no obvious signs of damage. So, I can look on that as a positive. Have to watch I don't do it again.
Any help, opinions, views I may hold those are my own. Respect them as you would expect the same in return. Offered freely, is gleaned from a lifetime of experiences, knowledge gaining. Passed on to benefit others. I may be direct, ask you questions but those are to help you. Up to you if you choose to take it. I won't judge you either way.
  • Morning all and Happy mothers day to you all xx Amazing what you can do with a paper plate!!

Yesterday was more expensive than planned we went to the farm shop and bought some meat, eggs and cheese, but freezer will be full. We went to the carvery and got £5 deal so food and deserts were £17.00 for 3 adults plus drinks £11.00 about £9 per head and no washing up.

    Today I will or have

    - Done daily strach cards £1 and 30p
    - Check internet banking
    - Check MIL for things to Ebay next week
    - Enjoy the sunshine
    - Got free Mothers day card from work and free Thornton chocs from telegraph.

    Enjoy the day.
