Good morning everyone and Happy Mothers Day to all moms!

Yesterday I managed to stay within budget, we did buy lunch out in the end but used a coupon ;)

Also picked up some flowers for mom, lovely big bunch, used my tesco vouchers so only had to pay £1 and they wrapped them for me too.

    Today I plan to..

    * Pop to shop, need more washing detergent but will stick to budget
    * Quidco Clicks
    * Lunch and dinner from cuboards
    * Try and list a few items on Ebay
    * Have a mooch on the freebies board
    * Tidy flat, and clean bathroom, with stardops of course ;)
    * Meal plan for next week
    *Do recycling

Thats all I can think of for now, have a lovely day everyone xx
Living as simply as we can

    Hi Fay,

The seeds are collect from Somerfield - in again today, tomorrow, tues & wed, different ones every day. Yesterday was veg, today is bedding plants, cant remember what the others are! 5 packets each day, so free seeds for the price of the paper! :j

Ironing - I've just done it all *hangs head in shame* but my excuse is the DDs arent here - so they can pamper me later!!!!:rotfl:

Waves HI to Mrs A hope the florist visit went OK.
Well done on the ironing - our somerfield is now a Tesco's so no worries - I have plenty seeds anyway.

Great pressies SM - and Andan do mean you are now a hippie green or just covered in seedlings in the house?? you said you'd gone green - It sounds like you arent poorly :rotfl:

Been good and taught DD how to make hobnobs iwht her chum and so she is away through to her pals house with warm hobnobs and some lovely home made candles the girls did - awwwww

Also cut up in half a bit of a packet of baby wipes and put them in the pretty jar in the bathroom and resealed the bag up - this seems to work and I am the worlds worse for using a whole baby wipe myself (then run it over the loo) so now using half still works the same:D

Bank is within an inch of its life - so being careful don't get paid for ten days or so yet.

Hi all - got a nice surprise when I got back from my Mum's last night and got a letter from my mortgage company as my payments are going down even more than I thought as of 1st April (well, 16th anyway when i pay it). Instead of £763, I'll be paying £562 per month :j Will be having a look around over the coming weeks to try and find out what offers there are out there to make that arrangement a little bit more permanent and fix again.

Was late getting to the football yesterday as my Mum was too busy faffing around with a rear windscreen wiper at the garage so I ended up having to run, getting into the ground 2 mins after kick off, but which was late enough to avoid the temptation of a programme and a pre-match coffee!

Bought a new pair of pjs yesterday at Primark for £4.69 and will be having a clearout of old things later today.

    God, I love weekends.
Almost debt-free, but certainly even with the Banks!

Hi fay, we have gone green as in lots and lots of seeds now sown, more work undertaken in the garden thanks to me and hedge trimmer, lots of hedging bagged up ready for the tip on tuesday. OH has just done his turn in the garden and cut down some huge prickly bush things which were awful and over big, so that has been a huge help in the garden.

He is now also using hedge trimmer to cut down some more waste, so our garden although looking like a bomb site, is making a lot of progress today!! cheers me up as i really want to use the garden this year so that we can have people over, plus i can work outside in the sunshine!!

UPDATE: Within an hour my OH has cut down most of the garden and there is a lot of garden waste but we can actually see our garden now and its also helping to let in so much more sunlight. He definitely has his uses!!

DD and I just done some cuttings planted the lavender and the oregano and had a shot on the new swings which we put up yesterday - which made me feel dizzy but I did have a go!!

Off to set the table for lunch xx
