Went to town earlier and spent £2.50 on fresh veggies. Used my two no 7 £5 vouchers so a pack of wipes for £6.40 and a nail polish for £6.10 cost me £2.50:D more goodies towards DD's xmas stocking.Found another voucher in my basket too so will use that next week;) didn't feel like going back a third time:rolleyes:

Also got free parking courtesy of disabled friend and we had a free latte from macdonalds using loyalty cards:D

Came home then ran DD to stables and picked up some free manure for my veggie patch -lol knew having a horse would come in useful eventually!!!

Woke this morning to find I have tomatoes, spring onions, courgettes, radish, lettuce, and spinach all now sprouted:j :j

Marru - no more dates planned yet??? Enjoy going walkies with 5 dogs:eek:

Milly - I would go back to see the doc if the pain doesn't go soon.

Cleosmum - Halo polishing well in order:D

Hi - can I join you?

Feeling chirpy as I did a NCT nearly new sale, and after their commision, I will get £45:T - lots of small boys clothes:T .

Looked at the beach cafe where we want to do our 10th anniversary meal - inviting friends to join us on the beach first for picnics and games and have fish & chips and ice creams in the evening instead of usual hall hire, buffet and disco milarky.

walking on the beach, DD1 found a heart shaped pebble, which she is going to give me for mothers day :A .(She gave me one in the summer, and I will photograph the 2 with the sea in the background for our invitations.)

DS3 is out with Godparents at legoland for the day, and OH has gone to Halfords o buy a cheap mountain bike to use to go to work.

Oh, and didnt come last at the schools pub quiz last night (not first either).
    Its a lovely day!!!!

Afternoon everyone, hope you're all having a good weekend so far

Done quite a lot today and OH's mum's going to love me. She's been researching her family tree at the local library and I've found someone from way back in 1450!! Ain't it great when part of the family stays in the same house for 559 years!! Still ain't found the parents of the person we were supposed to be looking for though!!

Done no washing today as it's all done...hurrah!

Just waiting for my apple crumble and custard now!

  • Resited buying another 'value' family pack of salted crisps. Instead, got a basic white bread for 38p (dramatic decrease and back to what the price was one year ago; probably be back up by Monday) and a cheap bottle of unbranded washing up liquid. Total - less than a £1! Yesterday, picked up quite a lot of large bananas for £1. Prefer clementines, but couldn't find any.
Any help, opinions, views I may hold those are my own. Respect them as you would expect the same in return. Offered freely, is gleaned from a lifetime of experiences, knowledge gaining. Passed on to benefit others. I may be direct, ask you questions but those are to help you. Up to you if you choose to take it. I won't judge you either way.

today i have visited my mum with mothers days goodies.
had breakfast at mum's more like brunch really so lasted us through till tea time
    done scratch cards
3 loads of washing dried/drying on the line.
been gardening today, using up things, and getting some free exercise.
  • Still didnt get anything sorted out really,

Looking for a savings account or two to help me budget properly.

The only thing spent today is under a tenner in asda on mothers day pressies so not to bad.

Did use the lin eand fresh air on the washing instead of the tumble dryer so that saved a bit.
