we might try for Kiln Park,as its close to our family back home ( and not far to drive from here either so bonus) we love Tenby
so can meet up with family & friends too, kill 2 birds n all that ....

if not there then maybe Ruda, as everyone says how lovely it is :)
  • I have done Woolacombe Bay, Twitchen Park, Trecco bay Porthcawl, Parkdean Torquay and Carmarthen Bay. All were great. Alot of the Parkdean sites seem to have had a refurb last year and some of the Club facilities are stunning with great decking areas outside too.

Cant decide where to go this time.....

I've been to Parkdean Torquay too - was really nice. Was a bit in the middle of nowhere(i.e. for walking, not very far in the car tho) , but we didn't mind that at all.

It was great!! Bargain for £9.50 at the time.

    Hi

Please does anyone know which holiday company they use for the holidays in Europe e.g. Eurocamp, so that I can compare prices?

    Thanks

They use a few different companies. Check this page for the company you want http://www.ukholidaysinthesun.co.uk/cgi-bin/UKHS_park_0003.cgi?sort=O&promo=SUNSUM09&showall=Y
use the drop down top right to list by park or by operator.

I've found the same thing. We wanted South Wales but none of the parks gets a very good rating on the review sites so now looking to go to Somerset or north Devon. Maybe I'll just forget about how good/bad the parks are & just pick the area I want instead.
    What's everyone else doing?

The parks I've stayed in in Wales are Brynowen near Aberystwth the caravan was lovely, spotless but not much to do in the park, and the apartments in Hafan y Mor in North Wales which although we paid for silver accomodation were not fantastic, smelt damp/stale and door had obviously been broken in before.

I think i'll just keep an open mind about wherever we get, hope for the best:rotfl:

I love Wales which is where we usually go - so mite be too close to home for you, but Kiln Park and Quay West are good parks (Haven) and Camarthen Bay (Parks Resort). Would go back to all 3.:T

LOL, Carmarthen Bay is about 20 minutes drive so no we won't be going there! I do like Tenby though:beer:

you need to pay for a minimum of 4 people anyway

and I think its only under 1s that go free ?? or is under 3s

standard accom has always been fine for us,clean and tidy etc

but some people report dirty, damp accom!

we upgraded once to get heating and an extra bedroom
