  • Todays word is TIME :)

I'm a bit gutted as I looked online for reviews for some of the holiday parks that I fancy, a lot of them had bad reviews. Or is it that people only write a review when they've had a bad holiday and don't bother otherwise??

depends what they are moaning about ?

some people whinge over the most ridiculous things

take some reviews with a pinch of salt!

which site/s are you looking at going to ?
  • Mostly complaining that the chalet/caravan is dirty or broken locks/ windows(!)

was thinking of going to somerset cos we live in Llanelli so not too bad a journey - I just noticed you live in S.Wales as well Rachie!

It was the Havens in Burnham and Doniford Bay that had the bad reviews.
Might try for Butlins in Minehead and the Lakeside holiday park, not sure which other ones. Don't think we will spend much time in the park anyway.

Got any suggestions? Don't mind travelling a bit further if it's nice.

    Hi fellow welshy :)

hmm yeah i have heard back things about Doniford Bay ! never been myself though

our boys love Butlins ,and its not too bad a drive from here :)

we have stayed in standard ( which is fine ) and silver once too

for the amount of time we were actually in the accom we didn't bother upgrading when on a Sun holiday
it was clean and tidy and that was good enough

Our boys love Butlins as theres so much do to onsite! and the beach just opposite aswell of course

theres some nice pubs / restaurants nearby too

    Hello everyone,

Have read through your posts and the process on the Sun website, however I am a little confused as to whhat the code words are used for (i.e. Sand)??

I understand that you need to collect 7 tokens, attach to form (downloadable from website) and post off with £15 cheque. So what are the code words for? :S bit confused....

    Hello Meg,

If you book your holiday online, you will need the code words for your application.

£15 PER PERSON based on 4 sharing ( even if 1,2 or 3 of you )
so £60 payable to the sun

the rest ( service charge, entertainments passes etc) are paid direct to the site ,when you receive your confirmation letter

Ignore the code words if you dont have a priority ref number ( which enables online booking)

Can you use the codes only to book the holiday online? I havent got any vouchers this time around, but think I might try to get a holiday anyway.

If you have a priority booking number then yes ( you dont need to collect the paper tokens, just the code words from them)

if not, then you have to actually send of the tokens from the paper
