  • Hi

I've done the sun hols a few times now. The online site says it will be open Friday, but it's normally midnight on Thursday. How have I previously managed to book at midnight when I wouldnt have had enough codes? It's 5 codes up to Thurs? I know I've done it the last couple of times but I can't remember how?

We have been to Blue Dolphin for the past two years at Scarborough. The kids love it, but this year we want to go to Primrose Valley just down the road, same area but different park just for a change.

    Looking forward to it!

The earliest I can get firdays code is about 5am when the papers come in at the local garage, so if anyone gets it sooner, please post.....I know down in London can pick up the paper as early as 2am in some places I think....I miss london :(

We have been to doniford bay - and liked it.
The caravans are great, but yes the chalet things look awful and I bet thats what you get on a sun holiday.
We booked direct both times for doniford bay, and had lovely caravans, first time we went (5 years ago) we only paid £48, it was a last minute one on the haven website, in school time, but was great.

If you have a priority booking number then yes ( you dont need to collect the paper tokens, just the code words from them)

if not, then you have to actually send of the tokens from the paper

Thats a shame.. We did the £9.50 offer last year, but never got a priorty booking form.

Oh well, good luck to you all anyway. :)

    Todays word is TIME :)

I'm a bit gutted as I looked online for reviews for some of the holiday parks that I fancy, a lot of them had bad reviews. Or is it that people only write a review when they've had a bad holiday and don't bother otherwise??

I've found the same thing. We wanted South Wales but none of the parks gets a very good rating on the review sites so now looking to go to Somerset or north Devon. Maybe I'll just forget about how good/bad the parks are & just pick the area I want instead.
    What's everyone else doing?

It was the Havens in Burnham and Doniford Bay that had the bad reviews.

have never been to Burnham before but I know two ppl that have been there - 1 of them a couple of times and they loved it. As ppl have said you have to be careful with the reviews - ppl do usually post wen they've had a bad experience - which does annoy me, so I always try to let ppl know wen I've been sumwhere nice.

I love Wales which is where we usually go - so mite be too close to home for you, but Kiln Park and Quay West are good parks (Haven) and Camarthen Bay (Parks Resort). Would go back to all 3.:T
