Yes!! Ive been there when my middle child was a newborn babbie, be 6 years ago this summer, I thought the site was lovely, We went when it belong to landscove holidays, they had 3 parks, Devon Valley, Riveara/St Mary's Bay and Landscove, we prefered Riviera Bay to Devon Valley, Devon Valley site its a pain to park, as you are allocated parking bay but not necessarily next to your chalet, so we had to lug cases etc across the park, which I thought was a faff, the entertainment band at that time was naff, and they used to have a mascott, Morris Minor , which was fab, my kids adored, buts its changed company now so Im sure it will all have changed. The area is lovely, but then I love Devon, If you want the choice, I would opt for Riveira bay 1st and then devon valley, I am sure you would have a wonderful time at either. The views from Riviera bay are beautiful, really stunning especially when you have lovely weather. X
if you cant have what you want, be grateful for what you have :T

i went to the riviera bay in brixham last year and to be honest i thought they were very run down. in my opinion the chalets need to be knocked down and rebuilt.

on the other hand i went to haven devon cliffs in exmouth and couldn't fault it. also went to butlins minehead at the begining of this month and it looks like they have refurbed many of the rooms and were still putting in new bathrooms/kitchens when we were there.

    hello

I've seen talk of booking online with code words..what is this? I've only ever collected the vouchers and sent them via the post. If I can book online it would be brilliant. I've not done this in the summer before and I'm a little nervous about sending a cheque as only 4 dates are suitable but I realise that I HAVE to put 5. What are the chances of me getting my fifth date choice?

  • I have just checked availability for the dates I want, direct with the site and they are full. So can I cross that off my list for the sun booking?

If you have been booking via the post before you should be receiving a letter from the Sun with a priority reference number top right. If you have then you can book online from tomorrow with only 6 code words.

if you have booked before, they (should) send you a priority booking form and ref code

with the ref code you are able to book online,so no need to send off the actual tokens from the paper

or indeed buy the paper at all ;)

you know there and then what holiday you have got,and pay using a debit card
