    Hi Semi,
Yep, those really high bids (mainly Buy it Now) are from fraudsters, but you can stop a lot of them... When you go to My Ebay, go to Preferences (bottom of left hand column) > Buyer Requirements.

Here you can set details of who can bid, e.g. only people in the same country as you, etx, this will stop most of the stupid Buy it now bids or bids for ridiculous prices however you can't prevent people with 0 feedback bidding as they could be a genuine new ebayer.

If your phone is unlocked mention it in the title as they tend to go for a little higher price.

I've just checked out envirofone to get rid of my unwanted Blackberry 7230. They're only offering just over £3 in Argos vouchers so I'll be going back to my usual favourite selling place..... eBay. There are bids of over £30 for my model Blackberry so I should stand a reasonable chance of getting more than £3!!

Just to add my 2 pence worth... you wll definatly get more on eBay! However I don't think envirofone are dealing with many uber-techy phones which is why they put a siily price on it.

Personally they should state the phone isn't accepted at all as sometimes it makes envirofone look a bit dodgy! (They're not btw!)

Just registered to trade in my old phone. It's only worth £16.95 but I guess it's better than nothing, esp since it was only gathering dust in a drawer. Thanks for the link.

Just checked my 4 phones with Envirofone not got any of them - think I left mine too long in the drawer. One of them looks 'antique' and nearly as big as my shoe. Might take it into Tesco and see if they'll swop me for some points/cash.
  • Hi there, do you have to send the box charger and manual etc with these phones as there website isnt to clear?
    Thanks

    Hi Guys

I sent my Orange SPVC500 off to mopay about 2 weeks ago,

I just fiiled in the details it requested (IMEI No etc) on the site and popped the phone in a jiffy bag with

    FREEPOST
    MOPAY

on the front (nothing but the phone in the bag) and a cheque for 35 quid dropped through my door this morning.

    Result !!
