JasonLVC, how long did it take envirofone to credit your Argos card? And how do you know when it has been credited? Do you receive a confirmation email or something?

I sent my two phones recorded on Wednesday, nothing yet to say they got them or credited my Argos card yet?

Also I said last Sunday I had a Nokia to send in, expecting another jiffy bag. Should they have sent one or do I have to order one manually?

Might be worth emailing them about the jiffy bag. I requested another five bags via the website but never received them so I emailed them instead and they sent more out to me.

Very happy, sent a old sharp gx10i phone i found in a roadway to these guys, did'nt even think it worked, last week, just got an email saying it's passed and getting £24 cash back, asked them to change it to argos credit instead, worth £29 then!,
well chuffed! JasonLVC deserves a big pat on the back for this thread!

Well done Jason LVC this looks like a great site however, I'm still waiting for others to report that they've been paid. When we recieve our money/Argos credit, then we can really get happy :rotfl:

Sorry for delay, been a very busy last few days.

I had the money credited to my 'enviro/argos card about 10 days after I recevied email confirmation from them that my phone was accepted, etc.

Still awaiting some credit from some other phones I sent in last week, but will updatebagain as and when I get more credits (and I'll update timescales if they are different,etc).

I can advise about MoPay - I don't recommend them!

I sent a brand new Motorola C115 for £6, received a check today for £5.40 which is the amount you get for Grade B stock. Which is absolutely rubbish, i had never used the phone and was goign to use it as a trade in at some point.

Having looked at both sites A LOT, I can easily recommend envirofone.com. Prices are so much better, they are very low for advanced phones and this I suspect is simply because they won't them.

Received email yeterday from envirofone, stating that phones had arrived, they are still in testing so will also let you know.

Just looked at their website - They do state that they automatically donate 10% to childline.

However, after checking the prices offered to me, I will still be better off using this rather than Argos.

I signed up to this on I think the first day of the OP posting. I received the envelope the next day. I posted it back a few days later - received e-mails to say they had received them. Received e-mails today to say they had been tested succesfully. I'm just waiting for them to credit the Argos card they sent out with the envelope. So far I've found them to be very quick and efficient. Thanks again to OP
