Is there anywhere to sell old mobiles without having to post them off?

MY Phone was accepted today but how do u know when the money oges on ur argos card?? do u have to do something ??
Also got more £ than quoted for the phone!!!

Just a quick note to say that if you have a really decrepit model, or your phone doesn't work, you maybe better off recycling it through Tesco, who offer 300 Clubcard points for any working phones (potentially worth £12) or 50 Clubcard points for broken phones (potentially woth £2). Just pick up an bag in store and send to Greener Solutions.

Mine was acepted on Monday Rang them today to ask when the cheques sent out . They are very helpful and told me its always within 14 days so I presume the Argos points are the same . Is there no machine in argos to keep check on your points ..

I must say they are very good on the phones, i phoned them to arrange a courier and she stated it's not a problem, is this the first time I'm sending phones? yes I replied... looks at how many phoens I'm sending... "oh wow that's wonderful, thank you so much", I had a warm gushy feeling

I think it would good if we could all nominate JasonLVC for this thread as Most Useful for the month. It was 3 days to the end of March but that shouldn't be cause for concern!

Just thought I'd let you all know that I have just received an email saying that they have tested my phone and its fine and I should receive my cheque within 14 days of them receiving the phone. They received it on 6th March so hopefully should have it by the 20th!!

I agree with nads that we should nominate JasonLVC for this thread.

wow got £5.40 for a crappy old motorola
when i come to upgrade in june, will see what they will give me for my old phone then!
