Cash for Old Mobiles (Updated 1st post)

Fair point, but they obviously don't want any c500's!.
perhaps this was a popular phone and so they are in over supply - or becuase these are specifically Orange phones, maybe they can't shift them as easily????????.
May I suggest https://www.mopay.co.uk who are offering £50.00 cash for C500's. I've not used these so cannot vouch for them in any way. If you do a bit of fiddling, you'll see these offer higher prices for phones that envirofone offer at lesser prices????. To reiterate, I've not used these before so cannot comment, but they do seem to have the same business model (recycling, etc).Anger ruins joy, it steals the goodness of my mind. Forces me to say terrible things. Overcoming anger brings peace of mind, a mind without regret. If I overcome anger, I will be delightful and loved by everyone.0 -
I put my sunglasses on checked out mopay, cheers for that0

I have used Mopay before and can confirm that I did receive the cheque within a reasonable period, but it is worthwhile checking out both Mopay and envirofone to find the best deal.
I'm about to send an old N3330 to Mopay (as they give a better price than envirofone).
Mopay have also started offering a referral program, from the site it isn't vey clear "free gift" but from an email to Mopay admin it appears to be a 10% bonus to your next sale - my customer number was 124550 -

Oh well, I still got more than I would have with Mopay (£6.50)0 -

I've had my two phones accepted and my ecard/argos card credited to the correct values and have been able to spend part of that credit today on some toys for my daughter. So, this is a genuine set-up to anyone who was waiting for confirmation of that.
I stress again, that ebay may well get you more value for your phone but depends upon your confidence/how much effort you want to put in.
And thanks for all your thanks, much appreciated. :T0 -
My old Philips phone comes up as 50p on Mopay!0

a) should power-up (turn on) and be in a working condition
b) should not be crushed or water damaged although may have some mild cosmetic damage such as light scratching to fascias and surrounds
c) should have its battery and memory card (if your phone came with one originally)
d) should appear in our online guide************************************************JasonLVC, perhaps you could add the above conditions to your original post to save having to keep repeating them************************************************0 -
Wow!
Signed up yesterday afternoon, the literature and jiffy were here this morning
If the battery runs out during delivery does it matter? As it can't turn on unless it is charged then...
Also if I send it Recorded I assume that I will only have to pay for the recorded service (65 odd pence or whatever it is these days)?0 -

They will switch the phone on and off to test it meets their t&cs, best to send the phone switched off any, whose knows what the Royal Mail sorting machines will do to them.
If they reject your phone, then you do have to pay to have it returned.0
