    I could find it ................
What - do you mean you could find where they say the phone must not be locked to any network? If so, can you be a bit more specific - is it just me being stupid because I still can't find any reference to this.

    Trade-in Innovation
In striving to provide our members with the perfect trade-in experience, we try to make envirofone as simple and easy as possible.

We feel our terms are fair and simple and hope you agree.

If you wish to discuss anything with our customer services team we would be delighted to hear from you. Please contact us here.

Please take a minute to read our simple terms below:

    Each mobile phone traded in

    a) should power-up (turn on) and be in a working condition

    b) should not be crushed or water damaged although may have some mild cosmetic damage such as light scratching to fascias and surrounds

    c) should have its battery and memory card (if your phone came with one originally)

    d) should appear in our online guide

Any mobile phones sent to envirofone.com that are received but not listed in our online mobile phone guide will be properly recycled.

If we receive mobile phones that do not meet our terms & conditions we notify the member by email of the adjusted enviropoints value. If the member does not accept the new enviropoints value, we are happy to return the phone. envirofone have the final decision on all enviropoint values.

    Payments

We endeavour to pay all cheques, or credit eCards within 14 working days from receipt of phones where possible. At busy times of the year we can't guarantee payment within this period. All payments are non transferrable and envirofone reserve the right to withdraw offers with no notice.

From time to time we will change the offer values of mobile phones on the site with no notice. If you trade in a mobile phone we will pay the value on the date of trade.

All valuations include VAT at 17.5%.

    please_note.gif
    • Although not a requirement, we encourage the return of mobile phone boxes, battery chargers and accessories. These will always be recycled by envirofone in a responsible manner.
    • To fully test mobiles we will restore factory settings.
    • All mobile phone trades are valid for a period of 14 days only - if phones are not received within the 14 day period trades will be cancelled.
    • Phone values stated on the website are subject to change at any time without notice.
    • We also support Imobilise, a crime protection database created to block stolen mobile phones. The register holds the details of many millions of phones (14 Million as at June 2005) and makes stolen mobile phones unusable on any mobile networks. If we receive any mobile phones that have been reported stolen they will be passed to the police along with the name and contact details of the customer.
    • Please remove sim cards prior to sending us your mobile phone. Any sim cards received by envirofone will be discarded in the appropriate manner.
    • Currently envirofone.com is only available to residents of the United Kingdom.
    • We do not accept responsibility for non delivery of phones by the Royal Mail. We recommend that all envirofone traders use registered postage to ensure successful delivery.

Just be aware that you might get a better price elsewhere... the more expensive your phone in the first place the more likely you are to get more for it on Ebay... XDA IIs would get me £67.56 of Argos vouchers or £150-200 cash on Ebay... Uhmmm now let me think... :)

But for old less expensive phones? Brill site!

Thanks very much for this! Just made over £30 in Argos vouchers for ancient phones lying in my kitchen drawer!
  • I get a grand total of £6.75 for 4 NEC phones (808N, 808Y, 313 and 228). I know the first two are complete rubbish but the 313 isn't too bad and the 228 is a pretty good phone (considering it's NEC and Three).

They didn't have my old Ericsson (not surprising as it's at least 6 years old!) and neither my Trium (about 4). They did have my Nokia 6630 listed but it's worth LESS than the 7600! That's just bizarre!
