Moan and groan, then moan and groan all over again.

Woe is me and the world of work. I hate it.

On the plus side, my M&S card balance is below £1k. Now that is a result. It was over £3k but not no more. No sireeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. Yippeeeeee. Just leaves the other elventy billion trillion pennies worth of debt I need to repay.

Have been walking the dog and spending lots of time with MrGG. He is being lovely husband and we are getting on great. All we need is our debt banished and our lives would be complete. One can dream.

Why are Monday's so flipping exhausting. I have made my lunch for tomorrow out of storecupboard ingredients. Its taken a bit of imagination and if I am honest, it looks blummin' rank. Though beats forking out for a lush sarnie that I would enjoy. Can't afford it so musn't buy it.

Sorry its only a short one from me today, running out of enthusiasm for Mondays rapidly.

Going to go and indulge myself in American TV shows for the rest of the evening before I pass out into ZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzLand.

Its been a long month since the last pay day and I am going to hold onto my cash for as long as I can! Says she who has spent £15 today already!!! LOL.

    Til the next installment.......

Hump day tomorrow and not a moment too soon! Thank goodness!

Looked at my bank account. Talk about depressing and a reality check.

I need to buy a few things, though I can't afford to. Can barely afford the essentials such as petrol, so I think its going to be something a tough month. Actually tougher than tough however got no choice except to get through it, so its head down, work hard, spend absolutely zilcho. In fact, if it was possible to spend less than nothing, I really would.

Trying to think of ways to increase my income. Main issues are severe lack of time, complete loss of imagination and constant dreaming of winning the lottery.

If I could turn back time, I really would. If I knew my PIN numbers for my credit cards I would be in serious trouble of saying stuff it and going out on a bit of a spending bender. Nothing more satisfying that spending cash, esp when you don't have it. Yet, the Saviour that is Martin Lewis has a beady eye on me and reminds me that I will have to pay it back and it will end that I have to pay back even more than the original cost of the item as I won't be able to clear the balance of the cards.

Frankly, that's sorted that and knocked that idea/temptation on the head. Diaries are wonderful things as you can "talk things through" and come out the better side having made the best MSE decision possible. That's the theory.

I have scoffed so much today, its terrible! Clearly hormones are telling my body to start stocking up as there may be a drought a-coming! Tho its a financial drought this time! LOL!!

Each month, each payday means another payment off the debts, so we're getting there slowly, wish it was quicker, no point wishing my life away. The debts will paid off in their own sweet time I guess. Oh why oh why am I so impatient. Guess it was impatience that got me in this strife in the first place. Its going to take a mammoth effort to not stray from the path of repay the debt. I will be good. I promise. I have to be.

Off to find something nice to eat in the storecupboard thought I seriously doubt I will be successful. Will console myself with a mahooosive cuddle session with the dog instead.

Plus owe Mr GG an apology too. Let something trivial nark me and I tore strips off the old bird. Naughty naughty.

    Til the next installment.......

The Mr's will live to fight another day. Mr GG has survived a darn sight worse and I hasten to add my bark is as bad as my bite - sometimes. Most of the time and totally fluffy. Except for today of course!

  • Sometimes they need it though, just to keep them on their toes & stop them from taking us for granted!

Well done for getting M&S below £1k too

despite the subsidise canteen at work I'm still taking lunches in with me....well mostly am anyway - just a drag making them - can't be bothered the night before & want to stay in bed as long as possible in the mornings!!

am favouring leftovers at moment - 3 minutes in the microwave & scrummy yummies with minimal effort!
