The Lastest Update
Firstly, I'd to like to say thanks to Happy and Lurker for their kind words. I am feeling a bit better. The dodgy hug really helped. Thanks.
How nice is the weather today? Its bright and breezy is it not?
I have been out in the fresh air this morning and that has done wonders for clearing the cobwebs away. :rotfl:
Today I must (once I am off this compooter):- Walk the dog
- Write a list of storecupboard items (so can meal plan)
- Write a list of freezer items (so can meal plan)
- Look at bank account (squint through fingers hiding eyes from balance  if necessary)
- Do an income and expenditure list
- Work out new debt balance (excluding hideous overdraft)
- Find new CC to replace Halifax and Tescos
- Hang out the washing from the WM - its bleeping at me now!
- Tidy the kitchen
Citi Card wrote to me telling me that my APR was going up and I could freeze the account (have I told you this already? If I am repeating myself its probably due to the madness that is sorting out your debt, makes you lose your memory). So I ended up calling twice and it turns out I was right and that I am on LOB rate of 5.8%. Not to be sniffed at.
MrGG and I have had a massive row on the phone, to do with not telling me where he is, I couldn't get hold of him and thought he had been in an accident, then we argued about money. We have nothing. We are both figuring out how we are going to buy food and stuff. We have made up. MrGG has borrowed some money til the end of the mnth and he is going to repay it on his payday. Dire times, my mse savvy friends, dire times.
Don't suppose I can sit here legitimately surfing the net all afternoon. Well, really I could. Likelyhood I probably will.
Enjoy the sunshine!

- Work out new debt balance (excluding hideous overdraft)
I have added it all up and:
My CC balances total are: £15, 788.51
My Loan balance is approx: £2,289.96
Grand total of: £18, 078.47 in the red.
I am ignoring my OD as I cannot make any improvements to that at the minute, so I know how much it is and its sending me snooker loopy but it is what it is.
My monthly outgoings for house and debt stuff is just over £1300. The negative side of this is that it doesn't include petrol, savings, extras for birthdays and other stuff, oh and I only just earn a fraction more than the outgoing amount. So it doesn't take Albert Einstein to figure out that I am on a rollercoaster ride to making the banks a ton of cash in charges on me going over my OD.
Decided to not buy any new clothes on the CC as I can't afford to have my CC bill any higher.
My loan finishes this time next year, so that will be nearly £200 a month I don't have to pay.
Going to spend some time now hunting around for new credit cards for my Halifax and Tescos. I'll give it a go, if I don't get anywhere then they'll have to stay where they are. I am ignoring the lure of a consilidation loan. For now.
Enough from me today, though putting it down on my diary is therapy for me as only have the old bird to confide in and its tough on both of us keep talking about money all the time. This way I get to let off steam and not risk a row by harping on about my lack of cash flow.

Now then, i dont think its end of the world, iwish my debt was that... i wonder what can be done to get the figures to work for you, like you say if you can get a 0% credit card or life of the balance credit card to take some of them numbers it should do some good, maybe repost an SOA see what can be changed >>? maybe nothing no one is giving anything these days in a moment of craziness i attempted to get a loan for the secured loan to make it unsecured it was no use

Its crazy isn't it?
My debt does not include our mortgage, only personal debts such as the CC's and loans.
I have been entering info into the minimum payment debts calculator and I have had a shock._pale_
CC1 will take me 3yrs and 6mths to pay off
CC2 will take 6 years and 3 mths
CC3 will take over 100yrs!!!
CC4 will take 4 years and 1mth
CC5 will take 11 years and 6mths (mainly cos its a high APR is due to cash withdrawals)
I am NEVER going to be debt free. EVER.
So now I have a dilema and would appreciate some advice on what to do next. Apart from cry obviously! I have that covered already.:wall:** Proud to be dealing with my debts **LBM - Jan 2009 _pale_ : £24,802.21 :eek:February 2010 :silenced: : £18,078.47 (not including OD)July 2010= £16,819.34 (not including OD)

right lets get to the nitty gritty can you put the credit card amounts? is there anything you can do to save or cut back sell or use a card with a lower intrest to transfer a balance of another, or do you have a family member mum dad who can provide you with a 0% credit card or could possible help to reduce the intrest rate for you, my mum has done that for me nd i have a standing order set up to pay her once a month?? or can husband do anything get bonus or something ??I AM A MONEY MAGNET, THEY ARE MAKING MORE MONEY FOR ME AS WE SPEAK:pMIKES MOB, DFW NERD 1071, DFW LHS 132!MIRACLES HAPPEN I'VE SEEN IT WITH MY OWN EYES. Then think about how you can sort this out.
Do you want to post a SOA for us to have a wee look at? It might help if people can offer suggestions.
Don't reject a consolidation loan out of hand. If you close all the credit cards it might work for you. Many people on here take them out and then spend the money again on credit cards though so you need to know the reasons why you got into debt in the first place and decide if you're likely to plummet down the slippery slope again.
