Hey Mrs GG
Sometimes I pop into your diary...
And hopped back a few pages by accident...and saw mention of Cosham (place of many nail bars and charity shops last time Mrs R went there, sometime last year...classy! Though it did yield up a great pair of Levis pour moi, and in my size (am not v tall), and for only £3.50 as I recall.... so let's not knock da Cosh...ALTHOUGH, WHATEVER HAPPENED TO THAT BEYOND GREAT RECORD SHOP...but anyway....)
And as am something of a local myself, thought would invite you to visit my diary sometime.
Am working hard at being DF too - and it doesn't come naturally, believe me...and now have no job (my choice though) ......but am doing well, as are you....so let's join together in geographical similarity...at least we can swap tips about what's hot in Poundland, if nothing else!!
Am more of a Chichester girl myself, by inclination, but am so determined to be DF within the next year, that am prepared to forego almost all -oh alright, many - earthly pleasures in pursit of that aim...we can encourage each other. WSY?

Huge Soz-ness, as am not from Cosham. Nowhere near, however my one and only connection to the area is the Job Centre HQ. Reminds me I must call them. Its murder getting through, always busy!!
Afraid that we are so poor we can't even afford Poundland. Its striclty 99p stores by us!!!!

The Latest Installment
Evening one and all,
How are you my [STRIKE]tightfisted / deep pockets and short armed [/STRIKE] MSE buddies?
How happy am I that its Friday? Only snooker loopy mega fabby happy. Its been mad hectic week and frankly I am pooped. Absolutely shattered.
Have got CBB on in the background, not sure why, as I have not even been watching the blessed programme.
Today was a NSD for me. Lunch consisted of my last soup in a mug accompanied with a variety of 99p priced goodies, in particular I scoffed two packs of Huly Hoops. I am sure that these are smaller packets as they wouldnt even feed an anorexic sparrow, hence I had to have double the advised dosage.
I filled the car up to the Max with petrol as I hate stopping to refuel. Narks me right off. So I have a full tank and now that I will be driving a la Ms Daisy I hope it lasts and we can go the distance on a full tank! Pun intended! Before you savvy lot tell me about the cons of driving a car with a full tank, all I can say is I KNOW I KNOW but I have done it now.
I is also planning on taking lunch next week each day as I am that broke.
My M&S card has a balance of £988 something, how's that eh? Pretty flaming good if you ask me.
No social activities planned this weekend, unless Mr GG is paying for them and you never know he might.
I predict a weekend of dog walking and a moutain of washing to climb. I hate housework. So much to do and so little time. Got to buy some washing powder first. Have to do it by Monday otherwise no clothes to wear to work and that could be catastrophic!
The dog has just leant on the keyboard and successfully hit the DELETE button, so I have lost lots of my witticisms. You will all have to imagine the hilarity instead.
No further money making news to share with you all. Wish I had more. Am such a failure. I am so skint its untrue.
Wish we had wine in the house.
Til the next installment......** Proud to be dealing with my debts **LBM - Jan 2009 _pale_ : £24,802.21 :eek:February 2010 :silenced: : £18,078.47 (not including OD)July 2010= £16,819.34 (not including OD)

The Latest Update
Evening one and all. How's the money saving going?
Me? Why thank you for asking.
Its going preeeeeety badly.
In fact, feel like I have had another mini LBM.
My overdraft is so RED its shocking. I am OD on it. I am so broke its untrue.
On the positive side, I have written a to do list and I am going to crack on with it this weekend and next week. Polite reminders are welcome.
So the plan is:- Ins and Outs for Me / Identify ways to reduce the Outs
- Need to move two cards to new ones
- Ins and Outs for the House
- Removing one bag of unwanted clothing from the wardrobe
- Sort out shoes and handbags to put on ebay or carboot
- Meal Plan - devise a system/use the OS board and the LoveFoodHateWaste site
- Update debt lists and snowball the figures
- Car insurance is up for renewal, so lots of research to find new best deal
Earlier in the week, I was feeling very blue and down, bit like the end of the world. Today, I am feeling brighter and I am taking control.
Got a letter from Citi telling me that they are putting up my APR from 22% (which is only recent as I was on a 0% deal) and want to put it up to 25.5% though the letter said I could call and freeze the account. Which I have done. So that is something. However I need to improve it further and I have not applied for any credit since Sept 08 so I am hoping this goes in my favour and I can try and get some kind of better arrangements in place.
My main issue is my job doesn't pay enough. Why doesn't it pay enough? Cos I have so much blooming effing debt. My own fault admittedly. Don't want sympathy as its my own problem and my own doing. I need to sort it and sort it now.
Have already made some alterations to some of my spends, and I need to figure out how to do more.
That's enough doom and gloom for one wet and windy February evening. I am off to watch my recording of Gleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! *rushes off into dreamland*

What the heck is Gleeeeeeee? There is nothing worse than trying to find 0% cards, think I have used them all over the years, have one just now and determined it will be my last - famous last words eh!0
