There are days when I wonder if I will ever have any money? Then reality hits me between my bushy brows and reminds me that not for the next couple of years at least. My brows need some attention for sure, keep telling myself nobody will notice my brows... as if!0 -
I've tried the doing it myself and I end up trying to convince people that my brows are my own personal work of art. Indeed, I am not too hot at it. Think I may have found somewhere that will do them for £3.50 - that is a bargain?! Also, once a month is £42 per year0 -
Oooooooh fiddlesticks - SPOILSPORT.
You are right though.
That would be 42 multipacks of 10 McCoys or HulaHoops or Monstermunch or or or or or or lots of other wonderfully sumptious cereal based snacks..... *salivates*** Proud to be dealing with my debts **LBM - Jan 2009 _pale_ : £24,802.21 :eek:February 2010 :silenced: : £18,078.47 (not including OD)July 2010= £16,819.34 (not including OD)

Save the £3.50 in a tin every month and buy yourself something nice?0 -
I'm going to go with get the brows done, £3.50 isn't bad. I get my sister to do mines for £2.50 (she'd do them for nothing but isn't flush herself), then I pluck in between so they last about three months! Gotta get those stray hairs the minute they appear!
Also, just started getting my other sister to dye my hair, used to get highlights at £28 every four months (cheap as chips actually) but fancied a change and I'm now a red-head!
Ooh Monster Munch......0 -
The fact is that I can't even really afford to save the £3.50 as Mr GG pointed out last night "You don't earn enough any more to cover your expenditure".
"Wow, thanks hunky hubby for that reminder!"
So I have cut back as much as I can. There are a couple o'ideas that I have to generate some income, so will put those in motion as the first available opportunity.** Proud to be dealing with my debts **LBM - Jan 2009 _pale_ : £24,802.21 :eek:February 2010 :silenced: : £18,078.47 (not including OD)July 2010= £16,819.34 (not including OD)

Latest Update
Another full on day with errands and dog walking and finally I am home and STARVING.
Got my dinner on the go and the darts on in the background. I am home alone and bored. Hence why I contemplating troughing whatever I can find in the cupboard, which is not great.
Once I have had my dinner, I think I'll have a bath, then scour the Sky for something to watch or I'll put a DVD on.
Today was a NSD for me. Mr GG and I went to the supermarket today to purchase some essentials. We are so poor this month we had to pay for our groceries with 20ps that we pinched out of our sealed pot. January often means desperate times and desperate measures. NOT NO MORE. Next year will be different. We will have wonga in the bank, plus we'll have paid off more debt.
Mr GG announced he has also stopped using his credit card and hasnt used it for awhile *cue mad proud grin*, seems ye old MSE ways are rubbing off on the old gander.
Not much to report today, apart from we still have snow and plenty of it, hoping we don't get much more over the weekend, can do without it!!!!!
Rightyo - food is calling me and I cannot refuse its cries of EAT ME NOW!!
Hope you are all well and budgeting in a way that only Martin would be proud of.
Til the next installment.........
PS - told you I was back, and I mean it. Regular diary updates so it is.** Proud to be dealing with my debts **LBM - Jan 2009 _pale_ : £24,802.21 :eek:February 2010 :silenced: : £18,078.47 (not including OD)July 2010= £16,819.34 (not including OD)
