Hi GG it sounds like your really making progress and getting stuck into it all. It is important to socialise (within reason) as you need to keep up your confidence and self esteem and if you don't get out and about much in my experience it tends to steal away!

MrsM - how is your ebay challenge going? Are you doing alright?

HI Mrs - Congrats on your e-bay progress.... :T Just noticed your sig - does that include your mortgage or something?

I remembered the clocks but went to bed far too late... Like a bear with a sore head today - and we were late too church (but not very)

  • Today's Update

Greetings to my regulars and to any lurkers!

Things are certainly up in the air at the moment job wise. Still waiting for this extra interview, though apparently they are very keen on me. However, things must be hectic there. Its been three weeks since my first interview with them. Though oddly enough, this happened if both my previous jobs too! Do Do Do Do *sung in a spooky eerie fashion*

I have also been contacted by another agency who are keen to sign me up and have a potential opportunity or two that I would be suitable for - assuming I can wow them in person as I can do on paper. Must remember to recharge my personality in time for the appointment! LOL.

I also have another interview on Monday, so must swot up for that too.

On Saturday I didnt tidy the house, however I still rewarded myself with crisps anyways. You know. Just for being me. LOL.

Sunday, was a different matter, I was UP and AT 'EM. I tidied up and sorted some paperwork. Gotta do some filing but now the filing is in piles ready to go. Mr GG has two bags that he has to go through. If he doesnt. Its all going in the bin. He's get two chances to do it.

I have found some stuff to Ebay but typically my camera phone is on the blink. Rubbish.

Using MSE's mobile phone checker thingyathing I have recycled two phones and made £22 in M&S vouchers. It would have been £20 cash but I reckoned it would be better to get the vouchers and use those from Xmas or birthdays or something. I am trying to do it so that Xmas doesnt cost a thing this year.

My Nivea sample arrived today, so will put that away in a box. May try and make up MIL a little Xmas box of samples. Hope it doesn't look like an awful present idea but I cant spend what I dont have so will have to make do.

Have put all horsey plans on hold this year too. Was thinking about a second horse and allsorts of clinics to go to and to buy a new lorry but again, these things all have to go on the back burner. Unless I hit the lotto numbers, then it will be a one way street to OakleyVille! Check me out in my apartment on wheels that also can take 5 horses and still have storage room.
*snaps back to reality very quickly*

So my debts have gone down a little this month again. I earnt £20 helping a pal out recently, so I will stash that away with my shiny £2 coins. Making a princely sum of £28 to pay off a credit card. Prob MBNA. Every little payment helps keep the interest down. Must send them off to the company ASAP (phones that is), gotta get a jiffy bag. In the good old days I could have recycled a bag from work but now I have to buy the blooming things! So UNFAIR.

Mr GG and I are doing the sealed pot challenge without even realising it. We have a tin and in it Mr GG is putting cash in it. Any money I find round the house that has fallen out of his pockets I also put in there. We are not sure what we'll use the money for yet. Guess it depends on how much is in there when we finally open it. Options are: annual holiday, house extension, redecoration, new furniture (desperately need) or paying off debt. I know which one it should be!!!!!!

Whilst I am feeling bright and breezy today, I wanted to say how great all my pals have been about my employment situation. All have been brill with showing lots of support. Though none have offered to pay the mortgage, quite frankly, that is just tight on their part........... LOL............

Better go, got things to do. Need to walk the dog and stretch six pairs of legs (that is my two and the dogs four - and not some kind of freakshow canine that we have on our hands, if that WERE the case, I'd be pimping her out like you wouldn't believe - cash for special appearances and newspaper coverage, well the debt would be gone in a flash!) Hee Hee.

Til the next time......... may you be good, spendthrifty and full of the joys of springfulness!
