    Water them.

Hi guys, planted my lettuces out last night and so thought i'd post a pic up. I love looking at everyone else's pictures so thought i'd repay the favour.

Apologies for not great pic, taken on phone....

Rows from left to right are:
    1. Mixed leaf (f) and Iceberg (r)
    2. Just put some radish in last night
    3. Rocket (looks a bit weedy) and two chilli plants at the back.
    4. Iceberg (f) and Little Gem (r)
    5. Pak choi and couple of chilli plants at the back.
    6. Carrots

As I said, that pic is taken just after they were transferred from their trays so they all look a bit poorly but a bit of water and some sun today, they should be right as rain.
  • Have sown my first batch of lettuce seed last weekend, but they are in a raised bed, and I have covered them with a plastic cloche, so they are being mollicoddled a bit!! They should be OK though, I have done this before and it seems to work as long as the slugs don't get them.
