i was thinking about starting trays of rocket/ spinach etc today, its lovely and sunny outdoors.
I dont have ground, only a patio, so at least I can bring them in if it gets cold againwill this work?
 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -
I've got no room left inside to start them inside so ideally I want to put the seeds straight into the pots outside.0

I stuck my lettuce seed in a raised bed (old car tyre) yesterday afternoon - but we have our own little microclimate that means we seldom get snow or frosts.Eat food. Not too much. Mostly plants - Michael Pollan

Mine are doing well in the coldframe. They have been overwintering with spinach in there. The Lollo Rosso is almost ready to start picking.
Thanks to MSE, I am mortgage free!

I've got some seedlings in the greenhouse, but I am about to sow some more direct into a bed.Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes.0

Hi all,
I planted some curly type lettuce 2 weeks ago indoors, in one of those punnets you get apples/pears in. I don't know what I've done wrong, because they have germinated, but now are over an inch long, with just 2 little leaves, but very very spindly and falling over. I don't think they'll make it. Does anyone know why this might be. Only thing I can think of is that I didn't plant them deep enough? I'm new to this and have planted loads of stuff recently, but I can see me giving up if this is the result of my first efforts! Help! Please.0
