On a debt level - now at £15K and £5.7K savings - so net debt currently £9.3K! woohoo - that is £4K better than when I started this thread!

Sadly however we are likely to need to start using those savings shortly....

Well done on the debt reducing Saving H, you are doing so well. I really hope something else turns up for you before you have to use your savings.

    Thanks CMD! :A

I just found out I have been shortlisted for the next stage from the interview last week. I think the client then selects between 3 or 4 of us to see for the next stage so it is still not guaranteed that I get to the interview itself.... :j shows I still have that interview capability tho.... Used amazon vouchers from bingoport this weekend to buy a DVD on interview skills... I watched it today. Nothing outstanding in there but I think I will watch it again and see what else might help.... Really I think I need to practice responding to interview questions with friends and family but in reality it is not that easy... and I worry it could make me sound more stilted rather than less!

Fantastic interview news, well done and all the best on the day.

It's so difficult to practise interviews. Do you know if it's competency based?

    HI shelley and jen

It will probably be competency based but you never know... I have been to some interviewers where the interviewer carried on answering e-mails, phone calls etc while so called interviewing me...

Clearly a highly professional company! Did you walk out?

I think I need to practice my answers with someone. So hard to answer the most simple q of all........ so tell me about yourself?

Hardly going to win me any points, prizes or even a job!

    You are more than welcome:A

GG - I didn't walk out despite it being nearly 4 hours long with tours, meeting everyone from CEO to factory mouse!

perhaps I could telephone interview you sometime - and you can do the same to me...? Altho I always pass phone interviews it is the ones in person I struggle with.... I just come across more relaxed (and poss flirty / funny) on the phone!
