Off to bed now - probably a bit late given my early start again tomorrow but we'll see... Hope tomorrow is a bit better. Also thought I finished at 12pm on Friday's but it is actually 1pm boo hoo! Extra money tho since I am paid by the hour!

Night night - thanks for stopping by...! Sorry for any diaries I have neglected today!

Hi ho hi ho it's off to work we go.....

At least I am managing to get up on time, now just need to get out of the house and get on the way to work!

Hopefully today will be a better day! Still not heard back on one of Thursday's interviews - the better paid one. The other one is interested tho in going to the next stage, I am going to leave my options open on that a little longer.... It is much closer to home - which if yesterday was anything to go by could prove very important!

Morning SH, hopefully you will get used to the longer journey - I can imagine it would be a nitemare! My office is moving in 3 weeks, so I will be an extra 20 mins away and it means getting up earlier (I am not an early riser), so looking forward to it, not!

Hope have a good day x

:confused:Well hated today too:eek:. I am used to having my own office and probably to a more senior role - and I am in open plan office. That combined with feeling absolutely exhausted is not the best combination! I was struggling not to fall asleep today!

Made it home for 6pm - that was the best bit. As you probably know I am not someone that normally jacks things in but really want to with this job! The hours and travel are proving a nightmare....

I didn't get the mega bucks job that I went for last week (proper feedback tomorrow) but do have a second interview next week for a role closer to home if I can work up the courage to ask for the time off! Considering I am not sure I want the job I am in - I don't know why I am feeling so nervous about asking for time off but I am. I think it is because I don't like lying and I can't exactly say I want time off for an interview :o. That role is much more "up my street", within 30-40 mins of where I live, I would be classed as more senior and would have more control of what I do.... and the take home pay would be similar. Hopefully I would have an office but don't know that bit yet! Of course I may also not get it....

I should be applying for some other perm roles... but strangely I am feeling really exhausted!

Thanks for the well wishes guys!

evening sh.. .hope u have ur feet up and not on here!

sorry to read about ur day - i remember how it is when you start a job - you feel all awkward and like a stranger. i think also the fact it is such a long journey to work does not help and that you have gone from being at home to launching straight into commuting again. i also think [and now i sound like my mother!] that when someones situation changes or has been through a time of stress or emotional upset - there is a reaction and that can leave us exhausted and weary.
again i would give it a couple of weeks, maybe when you get to know the peeps and a bit more then you will feel more comfortable and may be feeling its ok to stay there?

    wishing you well....
