thanks for the birthday wishes guys! To be honest I have had an exhausting day. Up at the crack of dawn to go to an interview plus pre and post meeting with an agency who made it very clear how much they want the commission LOL! I didn't get the feeling I was going to be offered the job but anything is poss. Looks like I will have started Tues job before I find out about today's role tho....
I then got asked to a telephone interview by another agency for another role - which I had today too for about an hour. Plus about 6-7 phone calls from various agencies. My CV is certainly attracting attention but other than Tuesday's job nothing is moving quickly enough.
Going out with OH for a meal next while kids have a chippy tea! Still not had any pressies (other than thro post) as today has been so hectic! I have definitely passed the checks to start a temp job Tues tho just earning considerably below what I want but it is something at least...Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Hi meal out was nice - but saddo that I am - back on here LOL!
Tomorrow need to get GP appt for DD for exzema it is really really bad. Need new medication for her b4 I start my job. Have feedback from THE job a few weeks ago - tomorrow too - will try to convince her to consider me for future vacancies based on my strong interview performance. Then planning to go back to bed and REST which has been in rather short supply recently!
Only had 4 pressies today but that busy - only got time to open 2 with the kids... - other 2 will have to wait until tomorrow now LOL!
Got to £10 on a scratchcard today so that was a nice birthday surprise and did get sent cards with some dosh in from family....
Need to finalise all my interview expenses claims tomorrow and return my JSA booklet to the DSS as unless I get an alternative offer tomorrow, start temp job Tues...
Bye for now and thanks again for popping in.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

I have decided to celebrate Tuesday's job woohoo - instead of getting all hung up on I wanted better LOL! I will be weekly paid but will try to just average payments regardless!
Also I have been number crunching. I want to be debt free by the time I am 40 (next year) - to achieve that I need to be really focused on kicking the debt in to touch. My target to pay off each month is therefore going to be £1200 or more. That would bring me £7.2K closer to being debt free (over 6 months)! The job is initially for around 6 months so I intend to leave my savings where they are for now. OH is going to try and move one of 0% cards to a new 0% if he can when it expires in July which should help!Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Hi SH,
Sorry that I missed your birthday yesterday, hope that you got some nice presents and enjoyed your meal out.
Well done on the job interviews and on getting the other job, it might not be what you are after at the moment, but you never know what's around the corner.
