Well just reserved our holiday for around end of July - also OH's birthday! So that is good.... - the one I was on about yesterday! Will try and get travelodge nights (or similar) around the dates - see if I can get any special offers. Need to check first that OH can have those days off (they didn't have the ones I originally wanted)!Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

2) £2.6K Net savings after CCs 10/10/25
3) Mortgage neutral by 06/30 (AVC £27.9K + Lump Sums DB £4.6K + (25% of SIPP 1.25K) = 34/£127.5K target 26.6% 10/10/25
(If took bigger lump sum = 60.35K or 47.6%)
4) FI Age 60 income target £17.1/30K 57% (if mortgage and debts repaid - need more otherwise) (If bigger lump sum £15.8/30K 52.67%)
5) SIPP £5K updated 10/10/250 -

Good news from me...we found the wedding suits today! In a big and tall shop aka Slaters..exactly what we asked for and with free alterations (they'll keep hold of the suits and alter them nearer the time...for FREE! V MSE!) and the whole suit is only £69!Very very happy lady!! :dance:

well we sold the car for 13k well thats better than losing 17k! ebay going really well this weekend so loads going on. we can settle one loan for sure and maybe pay of a couple of little ones / or the od for def.

my new view on life... fairy steps - one thing at a time - seems to pay off in my view than one big giant step. guess im being more realistic and have had too many knockbacks! have a wonderful week and fingers cross for job!
