So sorry to hear you didn't get the job. Hope you get some better news today re the interview yesterday - fingers crossed.
I'd be annoyed as you re the other job, sounds like they were just going through the motions they have to be seen to be doing but knew who they would give it too. So frustrating but to be honest, much as the job would have been great, it doesn't sound as if the people would have been fun - they had their favourite if you get what I mean.
Great news on the holiday - it would be lovely if you all get a nice break together.
Must get on and work. Speak later x0 -
Hi Karen and other readers... Well today is signing on day again. Need to submit to final mileage claims - still not been paid previous expenses which I think is really poor!
Need to try and do some tidying up! Just taken over an hours of sorting to find my JSA book (oops!). Will go and pay in cheque from MIL today.
DS has last SATs test today so at least that is nearly over... Need to look for more roles to apply for. Still waiting to hear re yesterday's job too!
Hope you all have great debt busting days and thanks for reading!Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Hi all - well they LOVED me yesterday and I have been invited back to meet the team on Monday!!! I've also managed to talk up the value of the job by a couple of K so that should help - still not quite what I wanted but better than nothing! Not in the bag until after Monday's visit tho so watch this space.
The manager was very impressed with me - and would give me some of her project work too which will help with my CV! I've just rung the after school club - they can look after DD Monday and are happy to reinstate her place asap if I get the final offer!Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030
