HI SC I was really worried when I first did the FREE daily scratchcards but I have had an average of £30 a month for months now with no problems whatsoever. With one of them I did have to give in ID but again while scary - well worth it... Conquer your fears and go for it! I initially used credit cards to sign up with but M&S charged me a £3 transaction fee - so I now use my normal bank card! Just today scratchcards gave me about £1.30! It tends to be better on a friday ;)

Hi downnotout - thanks for calling in! Not sure about tips today... I have been very naughty with my spending today  Put it this way I bought stuff at Matalan, New Look, Monsoon, H Samuels and then Pizza Hut for a lunch date with OH! Whoops! Hope I a) get the job Tuesday so it doesn't matter and b) get loads of dosh for my birthday (later this month) that I can put towards todays spends!!! Got lovely stuff tho!

Signed on today. Submitted more interview expenses - they are way behind currently so it is going to be a while before I receive the money they owe me.

I gave in and let DD have a play date but only because my cleaner has been today and so my house looks respectable again;). I really have to get a job soon as I have told her (my cleaner) otherwise she will need to finish end of May! I don't want to put anyone oout of work... just employ her out of the goodness of my heart honest :rotfl: SC - I'm afraid I'm not taking in ironing! Hope you got your house sorted ready for the lesson!

Hope you all have a great day!

By the way - THE interview I have Tuesday - apparently I'm down from 90 people to the last 3 (what that also means is someone dropped out this week - wahey! The agency told me there is no reason why I shouldn't get the job as long as I prepare and that even if they don't select me for this one - there is a chance that they will have other jobs they may consider me for instead sooner or later... So just need to stay on target and confident!

    Thanks Guys.

Well OH likes the 3 tops I bought, altho he thinks 2 of them are quite demure.... (good for work tho!). He is happy for me to keep the dress I bought £35 but doesn't think it is flattering enough.... Dilemmas... If he doesn't like it, and I know my DS doesn't like it - then that will lower my confidence so may take it back! I wanted him to love it but if he doesn't he doesn't!

I think you deserve a little shopping spree given the effort you have put in on money saving. It's your bday soon too even more of a reason ;)

Wishing you all the best for Tuesday, just incase I don't manage to log on much over the weekend. You're fab and I am sure they'll realise it too :D

    Awww thanks guys.

Just had a bowl of banana, strawberries and red grapes with cream for tea! Yum Yum! Watching NCIS currently!

I got sent my p45 today but it is wrong, need to ask for a corrected one or I will never get my tax back! The playdate my DD had over was the best in ages - she can come again LOL! I've also squeezed in a grocery shop today £69 which is more like it!

No plans yet for the weekend.... Think I will take dress back for now - I would like a bag or some kind of accessory for Tues if poss.... taking the dress back can help fund it!

Hi savingholmes, a shopping spree, just what I love! If you're not happy with the dress take it back, I always buy stuff I think are 'ok' then end up not wearing them so it's wasted money. You will probably get nice accessories instead. Was watching NCIS too, now onto Numbers! I currently have about 25 hours of progs to watch, think I need to get a grip and stop watching so much tv, ha!

Good luck for Tuesday incase don't get back on again! x

P.S. SC, it is very windy in Scotland, ha!
