Hi savingholmes-finally got around to reading your diary after you posted on mine-dd is napping and ds is at preschool so enjoying a good read of all the diaries. You've done so well in clearing debts and to still be slowly clearing them despite losing your job is fab. Good luck in getting a new job and i look forward to reading your diary.

Thanks Karen, Swinstie and BeckSeven for posting!

Just had another toasted sandwich for side salad for lunch - relatively cheap but still healthy!

Right target - apply for 2 jobs then go to B&Q for growbags and do a bit in the garden while sun still shining!

See you guys later and thanks for dropping in!:T

Oh well plans for today went down the swanney. Have applied for one job. Then got rung by the school to pick up DS who is poorly! We then went and got 2 McFlurries as part of the medication process so £1.98 down but feeling better :rotfl:LOL!

My MIL rang up before to see how we were. I told her we were fine until at least the end of August before we had to make drastic cutbacks like on food etc. She reminded me she was still here and prepared to help :Aaww bless!

My sis also sent her a wedding invite - she raved on about how wonderful it was, how well put together etc. Our own parents haven't even rung my sis up to say they have received it never mind to compliment her on it! GRRRRRRRRRR! My MIL, bless her, has offered to pay for my DD's bridesmaid dress plus whatever it costs for my DS to be an usher! :jShe really is so good to us! She wished me luck for my interview Tuesday too while telling me not to worry if I didn't get i! Families!

I did do some work in the garden in the end so hopefully I will go back to work with a beautiful garden! We have a bay window in the kitchen and we have a lovely view of the garden! OH has a study downstairs with patio doors and the view at the moment is gorgeous! I did quite a bit on my garden last year. We have only been in the house 3 years. I planted up a section that was just pebbles and planted loads more flowering plants!

Need to tidy up my front room and kitchen as they look terrible! Struggling to think of any money making strategies...

Thanks Lucielle and Beck! My hair does look more flattering now its been cut and my roots are no longer showing!;)

Well I have finally tackled my ironing pile - just needs putting away now! Only problem is this week's washing is now due again!

DS is feeling much better today so definitely going back to school tomorrow. :D My cleaner comes tomorrow so she will help get the house straight - I still need to clear some of the "wreckage" before she comes tho!!!

I must admit I am thinking of trying to get a new top :o tomorrow for Tuesday's interview. I also need to sign on - and take my claim form from last week's interview! I also need to print off the e-mail with the address on it and put a new claim form in for next week's interview. I will also be asking why I haven't received any money yet in expenses!

Still not heard a result on last week's interview - I rang up yesterday and the agent said he hadn't heard back yet! So there is till hope....

 OH didn't manage to see the friend who is a mechanic so we still don't know what is wrong with my car!

Still need to do the prep for Tuesday.... oh well I have 4 more days to do it in!

Had porridge for dinner! DS had 10p noodles! We are having fajihtas with pork for tea so that should be nice. May have to do something different for DD!

Hope you have all had a good day!
