I've spent about 10 hours on it today - I had better get this job! Did slip out for a couple of hours for a coffee with a mate. Kids also both had play dates for part of the day which helped.
Hope everyone else is enjoying the bank holiday weekend!Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Hi all - well presentation finally prepared and interview answers practiced with a friend. I've also helped the same friend - see how she can save £2k by moving to interest free and snowballing and talked her thro the £10 a day challenge and how to manage her budget. It is nice to pass on the skills I have learned.
Also had a visit from my sister and her boyfriend - bringing xmas pressies (from 08!!!). Kids enjoyed that. They have also been sharing a friend to play with that so that was good too.
Meals have been quite mse today - cheese and tomato and springonion toasties for lunch with coleslaw and chilli and rice for tea!
Feel more relaxed now I know that I am prepared for tomorrow!
Hope you are all okay!
SC really good news about the free tickets - well done for your other mse activities too! Glad you are having a rest - you deserve it!Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Thanks very much hypno!
Well today I managed to save £98 on my home insurance AND get paid £3 for getting quotes via quidco! I also got paid £1 referral fee for a friend and got 30p in scratchcards. That should hopefully balance out some of my recent spending!Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Hi savingholmes,
Thinking of you today - long time lurker! You sound very well prepared :T and with all the lovely confidence boosting clothes etc! And speaking slowly might be better than too fast - can sound enthusiastic but also nervous.
Good luck
