Hi cheeky! You caught up... you went back and read all the pages you missed !! wow wee:rotfl:
I'm [STRIKE]nosey[/STRIKE] dedicated like that :DPlus I was bored and DF was at work :shhh:
I still have sunday school prep to do - why do I volunteer for these things? I really don't know..
    Cos you're crackers?
I feel exhausted just thinking about it- do you thinking playing spider solitaire is the same as preparing?
Um....no. ;) On the upside though I've now made all my Order of Service covers :D :j

Big zippy well done on the order of service covers I am sure that is a butterfly weight off your mind LOL

Hi bigzippy and others - well I managed to get beyond spider solitaire to actually preparing the lesson. Went ok. None of the kids in the class had heard the story before which was kind of good and bad. Neither could they do pictionary, talk for a minute on topic or any of the other little things I had planned for them! Ah well - makes me pity real teachers even more! We had fun at the end tho playing the "yes/no" game as in don't say yes / no nod or shake your head.

I have agreed today I will only do sunday school 1 week in 4 that should help. I feel a bit guilty tho as they will need to redo the whole rota!:o

I have my OH chopping up leeks and carrots - we are having roast beef for dinner. I cooked it last night so it would be ready quicker. Frozen roasties in the oven....

I was going to say we had escaped church without any playdates which is true but we had barely got in the door when a friend came round for my DS argh !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We have decided the time is right for him to learn some mechanical skills - he is to take the bike stand off my bike and transfer it to his own (saving £ as I rarely use my bike). Unfortunately he has apparently put his muddy feet :eek:thro my clean washing which just happened to be lying on the utility floor for some reason which will remain nameless :p - so I am pretending I don't know about it yet so I don't go mad!

Today - I need to make sure they have clean clothes ready for school and do lots more maths practice. My DS also needs to finish 3 out of 5  SATS papers. He had told me he was on track which should have meant he only had 1 left but guess what - it wasn't true! I can't find it in me to punish him too much tho as we never had any of this when we were 11! They might as well bring back the 11+ the way they are going!

Anyway hope you all have a more restful day than the one I am expecting or at least a fun one! Off to slice up the roast beef now - yummy!

ah pretending to iron is a skill [one of my many special skills] that has to be worked on and perfected over many years. I will reveal the secrets but do not tell a soul!
firstly make big noises about oooo i have to do the ironing.
secondly put up ironing board, plug in iron, shuffle the ironing pile around a bit.
thirdly [this is the key] iron some bits, make a pile of ironed bits, then walk away [yes] from ironing with it all left in place and half ironed something on the ironing board. then when anyone comes in you race to the ironing board and pretend u r ironing!
    simple... effective!

Congratulations on the upcoming wedding :j.....I just need my OH to get his backside into gear....there's no pushing them though  Mind you, I wouldn't want him to propose because he felt he had too. He has his moments!

    Bet you're very excited :D x

Hi all well the dinner was yummy. DS only ruined one shirt and his bike is still in bits in the garden! He is so called doing his SATs while OH is asleep upstairs. I am fractious as I have just done another maths test 25 out of 30 I was quite pleased with that. Shame it took an hour. I think on the real thing I have 47 minutes to do 39 questions or is it the other way round lol - told you maths wasn't my strongest point!

MrsC I have mastered the art of looking like I am ironing too!

BigZippy - too right on kids. Anytime you want a couple just let me know.... I can't afford the petrol at the mo tho LOL!
