Good luck SH :) You gave me the inspiration to look again myself and found something worth applying for :j :) Not qualified for it yet, but should be by June and hoping they will accept me while training :)

    Thanks CSA and Bevan!

I have asked my boss to send me some info so I can input m expenses.....

I have made arrangements to have my hair coloured tomorrow - can't afford to have it cut as well at the mo - but at least I will look smarter - showing an inch of white/grey sprinkles thro my hair at the mo.

Bevan - good luck with the application.

Se - I am up to 27 gold stars on woohoo so slow progress still for me. None of my invites have joined so daily recharge is only 800 at the mo... Bingoport I always do well on tho...

Need to perhaps do more surveys and stuff too. Think priority right now tho is to look at what would be logical next steps - and apply for some of them and see what happens...

One positive though is that I went up to 16st 4 recently and today am back down to 15st 10 - lets hope I can keep reducing my weight! Some of that is due to illness, loss of appetite and apathy but even so still positive if I can maintain it through healthier means obviously.

I really wanted to go on the wii fit today but it won't power up - hoping it is just a fuse problem

Unfortunately my tummy bug has come back - don't know if it is stress related.

An agency has just rang me to discuss what I am doing and didn't seem phased at all by the fact that I had resigned and is going to look for other stuff for me.

I have just rung to cancel my physio from tomorrow and try and postpone it until next week. Am awaiting a call back on that... Think will try and keep my hair appointment tho unless I am sick again!

Supposed to be taking the kids to a film night tonight but can't really now - so not sure what to do about that...

Oh no, sorry to hear the tummy bug is back, it could be stress related? Is there anything you have eaten thats similar to when the symptoms started?
I've no idea if this is right or not, but I think stress can cause stomach ulcers? Or something similar, would they cause sickness? As I know you've been under a lot of pressure/stress with this job and then your accident.
I hope you feel better soon, something my Mum always gave me when I was ill was flat lemonade :)

Sorry to hear about the bug but good on the resignation. Very decisive. And I bet you'll soon have another job which is closer and more to your liking. Hope the knee continues to improve.

    Thanks bevan and verbatim.

I have also made an enquiry today about a Creative writing degree or MA.... I have always wanted to be a writer and am think it might be beneficial to pursue that rather than my current line of work which can be rather negative.... An MA would cost £4200 ouch, ouch, ouch and a degree would cost about £3200 per year!! Triple ouch.

If I pursued the study option - I would need to earn enough to cover the cost of the course plus contribute to our normal expenses....

Bevan - Flat lemonade apparently helps rehydrate you - and replaces some lost electrolytes but sadly we have none and it doesn't appeal that much anway. Currently lying on the settee with a hot water bottle on my stomach - trying to convince it that it is now okay!

Have applied for a writing freelance job - but they want quite a bit of info and a sample of work before I can be accepted so likely to take a while...
