Hi guys the swelling has gone down a bit more today so hopefully the xray will be good news - I will aim to go this afternoon. I've got meetings with external visitors booked in for this morning so don't feel I can let them down.
I will try and look at other people's diaries over the weekend - as you can imagine now I'm in unexpected pain my little world has narrowed some what!Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Hope you're feeling better and that your kneecap is OK. You sound very brave struggling in.
Have you had any ideas about permanent jobs after this one ends? But I expect that you have absolutely no time or energy for anything apart from getting in to work and back as well as your full time work.
Not long to the weekend and Xmas.
Take care

SH - hope you are not as sore today. It is not what you need the week before Christmas (or anytime really) I'm glad you went to the hospital as it will put your mind at rest. If they find a fracture will treat it - if not - at least you will know and be able to rest it without worring that it is IYKWIM
I've had a lazy day today - nurse came round this morning and started long awaited treatment - I have caught up on some telly and dozed on and off which isn't really like me so I decided I must have needed it. I'd contemplated going back to work after the treatment but nurse told me I'd be best not to after the first time - that was all I needed to phone up and say see ya tomorrow.
Make sure you rest that leg as much as possible - was it a wet floor you slipped on?
We've had a bit of snow but nothing has stuck yet!!January spends - £587.580 -
hi guys - thanks again for the support!
X-ray was clear - yippee. Swelling was much reduced today - but still visible enough to have the xray nurse tutting on my behalf.
M - yeah it was a wet floor I slipped on...
V - the job is now approximately 18% complete - not that I am counting much! I don't have the energy at the moment to look for a perm job.... Hope to use the xmas break to reassess my options and poss develop an exit plan. My team are nice altho very stressed and over-worked!
hi Milann - good luck with the snow - do you want it to stick or not stick?Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030
