Yes, can't believe I am 30 weeks. It feels a bit scary - have so much to do before the baby arrives. Don't even have a baby grow!
The day off was nice - spent most of it relaxing - a couple of hours with DD finishing xmas shopping! Just had a sweet chilli chicken and rice for tea - I thought it was nice.
It is DD's school fair tonight so off out again in a mo! Never stops - strangely OH hasn't volunteered to come:rotfl:Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

I am quite superstitious as well. The buggy arrived yesterday but am not even looking at it. Will just put it in the store cupboard. Anything else that I have bought has been put away.

Hi SH
Glad to hear you've had a good day off.
I think I've got all my pressies too. Am hoping to go through to check, start wrapping and put up the Christmas tree this weekend2019 fashion on a ration 0/66 coupons0 -
christmas fair was good - mix of bargains and donating to a good cause! Good teacher turnout too which I always think is impressive! Got a few more bits to put in the hamper for MIL... she loves reading and I got a load of books for 10p each. I got some xmas decorations at similar prices too!
well done jellie on finishing the shopping!Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

blimey SH, you're doing so well to have so much of your shopping done despite the gruelling work schedule & commute
enjoy the rest of your weekendI do not make mistakes, I learn lessons.I work to live, not live to work.I love to live & live to love.Good enough is exactly that.0 -
Hi lurker and verbatim
xmas shopping for me is easy - not shopping is hard!
I bought a lot of the stuff before I started work anyway! What is good tho is I can use the cash I got back unexpectedly from the bed saga towards nephews xmas and birthday - as well as on other house hold stuff so that is good
DD and DS's pressies now mostly wrapped.... Other people are getting hamper style pressies so minimal wrapping required.... Need to try and wrap DS's cushions!Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Tree is done - looks fab
Lounge a complete mess tho - strewn with left over decorations and the things I moved off the xmas tree table and the box from under neath it LOL. I suppose I should get off my backside and sort it out while DD is rehearsing play!Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030
