Hi BTD - the metal tags were just from a quirky little shop. It isn't a chain or anything and just stocks really unusual stuff!
Well I have managed to find one cushion the right size for DS's day bed for £6.99 in poundstretcher - black faux fur which is what he wanted. Just have to hope they get another couple in to go with it. His room despite the money we've spent on it his year is a complete tip! He has been told he has to sort it or else LOL! The problem is that our bedroom isn't exactly a shining example either!
The kids have also brought all the clean clothes into the lounge for me so hopefully I can sort those while watching tv later.
We are having chicken korma for tea - probably going to cost just under £5 so not too bad!
Bye for now!Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Hi IMD - think you are right there.
Managed to get most of the clothes sorted - all underwear and socks bagged up by individual - with the lone socks still gathering in the basket! I also have about 5 piles on the living room floor - one each plus and extra one for towels etc and a basket of ever growing ironing... Can't remember when I last did the ironing which is not a good sign - grateful it is only a basket and a bits worth altho I have a horrible feeling there may be a few more items lurking upstairs!
Watched flashforward - liking that. I am planning to go to bed a bit earlier tonight as part of getting ready for next week. I am giving myself about 8 more minutes surfing and then it will be time to switch off.
We have our owl monitor up and running now - but it does keep losing connection. It is a good prompt for switching stuff off! Interestingly - we checked our last bills and rang up with new readings. They had underestimated by £200 - but since they had overcharged us originally by what they thought was £500!!!!!!!!!! we are still quids in - so we are going into winter with a £300 credit which is fab!Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Well going out to meet friend for coffee
Feel very virtuous - just cleaned the toilet, washbasin and bath in the family bathroom and emptied 3 upstairs bins! Shame there is just so much more left to do all over the house - typical too that I did things not on my list above!
I have also stuck in another lot of washing. The washing already on the line isn't dry yet - I left it out overnight LOL - but it is still damp!
Catch up later! My MIL is probably coming over on Thursday which is adding an extra spur to the house cleaning/decluttering emphasis this week!Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030
