    Well I have been thro my piggybanks 2 of them anyway - and have about £13 in change which I am going to use for DS's school trip, once I've changed its format! Every little helps and all that. DD's school have also asked for a contribution of £1.50 for something - so I am tempted to send that in in coppers in protest! they are also doing a movie at the school which is £6 - plus a £10 trip in December... They have a new head - and he is far more demanding of cash than the old one seemed to be! We're not that desperate that we need to use our piggybank money but I thought we might as well! :)

    Need to press on and get my tyres done tomorrow which is rather a depressing thought but better safe literally than sorry. My brakes are doing a funny squeal noise too so I will get them to look at that. If I am going to do 400 miles (just commuting) a week - I need to be happy that my car is roadworthy. I am thinking of ringing up my insurers too - as it is likely that I will exceed the mileage level I quoted to them... May wait until I am about to exceed it and then ask for a bigger amount! Won't take long at that mileage a week!

    My downstairs is looking blissfully tidy - shame about the stuff we just chucked upstairs and the stuff hidden in the garage. Ideally I need to deal with that this week and get it sorted. I also need to catch up on the dread ironing and pre-cook meals. life never really stops does it - esp when you have kids!

    Well I am back to feeling a little stressed! :eek::eek::eek: Probably not surprisingly! :rolleyes: My tyres - even after getting a £16 discount for smiling sweetly ;) were £150 :eek: and my brakes even after I asked them to round it down by £4 ;) were £70 :eek: so a total of £220 :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

    Good job I am starting work soon! :rolleyes:

    On the positive side:
    * I used some of my piggy bank coins to pay library fine :o (over £5:eek:)
    * Swapped coppers for £4
    * Used £14 in boots advantage card points to buys some makeup gifts on their 3 for 2 offer - so £20 of stuff effectively free
    * Went to Tesco spent £31 but got about £7 of stuff free on multibuy offers and a Tshirt in their sale for DD. Skips were 50p - so bought 4packs lol - that is less than half price!
    * Had a nice coffee in costa coffee as a treat while I started to read a library book that has been on my amazon wish list for ages!
    * Have paid DS's school trip £12

    Still to do today/this week:
    * Pick up kids from school
    * Finalise my contractual pay - and arrange for umbrella company to send new company an e-mail with forms and schedule etc
    * Sort all the newly washed clothes and put away
    * Iron clothes where absolutely essential
    * Sort through crates and find homes for things (part of declutter initiative)
    * Do this week's shopping
    * Pre-cook some meals
    * Make a start on de-cluttering upstairs!
    * Cancel love film
    * Pay for DD's school film night £6
    * Interview for perm job Wednesday
    * Sign on and off Thursday
    * Sort after school club for Wednesday and pay bill of £15
    * Sort after school club and poss breakfast club for next week!
    * Try to go to bed earlier - and get up earlier in prep for next week

    I feel exhausted just writing that list!:p

    Only got 10ps on daily scratchcards today.....

    Hi lurker - I think it is definitely a full week's work! If only I had started sooner LOL! I am actually better at getting things done when I am busier so am hoping that I will get a good chunk done over this week and probably the next few too!

    I need to go and make myself some belated lunch too - and get off my proverbial backside and go and do some of said jobs!
