I've given up trying to understand what goes on in recruiters minds

On a positive note.... I have signed up for a belly dancing class every Tuesday (£44) - I figure it should give me exercise, fun and adult company all in one....

  • SH, I don't know what to say, other than that one person is a complete & utter moron.

it will come right for you, hang in there

impressed about the belly dancing - mine lacks the basic co-ordination to do anything other than wobble

I went to a belly dancing lesson a few years ago but the class was too full so didn't go back... My mum gave me a coin skirt a few years ago that I can tie OVER my full skirt! I did like the class tho - altho it was exhausting

Oh no thats awful. Keep your chin up sounds like the boss woman is a freaky weirdo who wants control over everyone else so maybe your better off out of it. I'm sure the perfect job is there for you and it'll all work out brilliantly. Sorry there's only the dodgy :grouphug: on here.

Belly dancing sounds fun - can't do it myself as mine would set off an earthquake :rotfl:

    Thanks Shelley

Well today I spent most of the day with a friend who has cancer. We had coffee, did some window shopping (only) and then had lunch. I opted for a side order only to save costs! It was nice for both of us to get out and spend some time together... Not caught up for a while.

DS has come home today with a request for a further £12 for a school trip in October - it feels like the money requests are never ending....

Not done any job hunting yet - read some adverts but not applied yet.... Trying to give myself some time to recover! I'm going to check out some ou courses to see if there are any relevant ones....

I need to tell my sis who is getting married abroad that I can't come - that isn't going to go down well.... one of my other sis gets married this weekend.... Busy, busy week!

Earthquakes or not... sometimes the only way to get fit is to do something.....! :p I am not exactly a size six or eight - not unless there is a teen after it LOL! :rotfl:

Oh well DS is going to be a form rep. :jAll the kids in his form that are reps (4 of them) all come from his school.... The ones from the majority school didn't choose to be reps!

Got rung up about a possible job today so a little bit of hope is creeping back in. I've only shed a few tears in the last few days but perhaps because I am tired I feel like I've cried hours.... It is that lovely time of the month too which doesn't exactly help...

I found a different skirt for my sis's wedding... half paid for with a credit note.... lets hope OH likes it... My earlier outfit was too black.... now the skirt is black and grey from per una - but a grey that kind of shines - with a red and black top... Hopefully it will be alright. I already have red shoes and a matching red "evening" style bag...... I do have some silver and ruby earrings somewhere - need to try and find them.....!

I've been paid up £55 I was owed from my last jsa claim today... they still owe me £70 from the one before tho....

Hope everyone else is okay? How is everyone?

    Hi el and Karen

Belly dancing - I start a 10 week course next week. Did go to one lesson before but the class was over-subscribed so didn't go back.... wasn't space for me!

Karen - spinning sounds far too exhausting... I think I've done well if I walk to school and back 0.6 miles each way. Which I managed again today LOL

Oh well today I got my OH to sign up for lots of things on a cashback sites - gambling loopholes things... We should make £25 profit :jon the cashback side of things and on top withdrew £48 in winnings! :j:jNot a bad night's work if I say so myself!
