bigzippy - think I have an outfit for your wedding but OH only going to look for one on Saturday with MIL.... EEK EEK EEK
Hehehehe...and then rehearsal with nearly all the clan!:rotfl:Glad you have an outfit tho - you're doing better than MIL2B!
Well today was my sister's wedding rehearsal - full family get together.... Luckily I didn't have a role so I got to sit at the back heckling with my sis in law and brother! It all got very tense at times but over with now.... Ducked out of parents coming back here or seeing them tomorrow but they were not impressed.... Tough on them! PMT city probably didn't help..... - family members all with a similar body clock not good LOL!:rotfl:
If only I could've sat at the back n heckled!! Or even managed to duck out of the following day fiasco!:rotfl: Altho, to be fair, dad mowed and weeded the [STRIKE]jungle[/STRIKE] back lawn and mum stuck on the rest of the lovehearts labels;) She also cut out some more labels...but tbh, not to my exacting standards... They wanted to discuss how much I'd upset them...at lunch with MIL2B!
My sis and her fiance were really pleased with the wedding present :j- I managed to get a beautiful stained glass windchime in keeping with their wedding theme and decorations so I was really chuffed with that! We managed to get it while we were away on holiday in Cornwall - it is the sort of thing you could only find in a really quirky gift shop (or an expensive one) or a christmas market! I gave it them early as they won't have time to bother with things like that on the big day. Gave them some dosh too...
"Really pleased" doesn't cut it! It's immense!! We've got it hung currently on the bookcase and I keep looking over at it. It's Gorgeous!:A
Probably going to spend quite a bit of time this week helping sis with order of services, favours etc...
That is if sick kids don't get in the way ;) Favours and personalised gifts are now done, Order of Services are drying. Vases and flowers have been delabelled and dishwashered... I pulled in some minions today to help ;)

Welll I just heard and it is not good news

I did nothing wrong - 3 out of 4 of them want me but it is the one who doesn't that has the strongest vote and I got turned down. The agency can't understand it. The person who would have been my manager can't understand why his boss turned me down... The people I would have been working with don't get it either.....

The agency have said they will try to put some good contacts together for me as they think I am an excellent candidate in a sea of bad ones.... They felt my presentation was superb and I did nothing wrong and they are gobsmacked....

I just don't know what to do with myself now.... I just feel like I am getting knock back after knock back after knock back.... It is so hard to keep getting back up again..... It just feels like I keep putting myself out there to be beaten up (interviewed) for no reward.....

Just don't know what to do

I'm so sorry to hear this news - I've had fingers crossed for you. No point in saying don't let it get to you as it's so hard to hear this. I do think you must be a really good candidate to get so many interviews and get through all the various stages to the final selection. I'm sure it's just a matter of time before you are exactly the right person for the job. Can't find dodgy looking hug icon but sending hugs anyway.

I'm really looking forward to sending you a message full of :jwhen you do get a great job.

Thanks lucielle and bevan.... don't know what I have to do to close the deal as it were.... I didn't think it was a good sign that they had kept me waiting for an answer.....

Walked to pick DD up from school so 1.2 miles of exercise today and yesterday.

DS came home with a request to spend £14 on a music book and CD for the guitar lessons we are paying for for him.... I should be able to get £10 of it from the bingoport amazon vouchers but nevertheless so far high school is proving expensive!

Need to find constructive things to do with my time. My house is a tip but I am useless at trying to resolve it.... Did unpack and pack the dishwasher today - sending DS to unpack it agin.... I have made a diet tea - turkey fried rice with vegetables - should be nice.....

Thinking I might go for that PTLLs course - but likely to cost £400! Might see if there is anything interesting to enrol for at the local college too....

well its their loss , I am sure you will get something even better soon.
