    6 x cases arrived last night

  • Let us know how you got on please, lakelady. I am due to receive my delivery tomorrow but still haven't had that email from Tesco so am assuming 6 per case will turn up and I'm going to need all the evidence I can get!
    I had to ring Customer Service again, and they've said that as the mistake was on their part, I'll be getting a refund of £15 - ie 12 bottles at the advertised price.

    Well, we've not had confirmation from anyone who's received the email and their wine yet, but it did seem to suggest that the refund would be a full refund. If this does happen, you should get the same.

    Ordered 12 bts of each, rec'd apology e-mail, then today received 6 bt's of each - Just waiting for refund now.

    Only wish I'd ordered more!!!

    (Of course (ahem) I feel really really guilty about it all too ;) ;D)

    'If you order goods, and later the shop says the price has gone up, you should only have to pay the price you saw when you ordered, unless you were told there might be an increase. To be certain, ensure you get the price in writing.'

    Is that us water-tight? I hope so.

    I am in the did not receive an e-mail boat, A Big thank you to GOBBYASH though for giving me the 'Ammo' I may require when the wine turns up this evening ??? ??? ??? ??? Who knows what's in store for me.

    Got the e-mail before the wine and it said:

    Dear Mrs ******,

    You recently placed an order for one or more cases of Renaissance wine. We regret that this case was incorrectly advertised as a case of 12 bottles. The case actually contains 6 bottles. However in recognition of our error and as a gesture of good we have decided to refund the full price of the wine. The refund will appear on your account after we have delivered your order.

    Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience we may have caused you.

    And tbh, looking at the cases it's easy to see why there was a mix-up. It looks like there's a promotion on it.

    Anyway, a nice Tesco man delivered it, I signed for it, and that's that as far as I'm concerned. Six boxes for free ;D

    I'm still bewildered by it all though :o;)

    TBH I can understand why you feel a bit worried, but it's only a nice Tesco delivery man that brings it. ;D

    I just signed for it knowing the price was wrong and tipped him. He probably didn't even know there was a pricing error.

    Just take delivery. No-one's going to lock you up are they? ??? :o

    Got my 4 boxes this morning too. Hasn't even been charged to my bank account yet - and I can see transactions going through up to tomorrow. I wait with bated breath ;D
