I also had more LVs today Numpty - I have now put the pile (6 books) into my handbag so that I can use when when I am out because they are no good just sitting there on the side doing nowt:rolleyes:
I have decided that as the HMRC are too busy to answer their phones, that I shall have an attack of skivilitis and not do any work - instead I shall swap PMs with a sexy biker:cool: Must write to the council and tell them of my new position and try and make head and tail of their silly form - self employment doesnt mean that you are a Limited Flipping Company:mad: I think a few words in councillors earholes might be in order:D
I try and avoid charity shops Numpty as the one near me has lovely things in it and my flat is full of their stuff - I really must stick on ebay but its a whole victorian lemonade set complete with jug, biscuit barrel, plates, large sandwich plate, cups n saucers, sugar bowl and salt n pepper pots (lid missing off one) all in pink glass:rolleyes: I couldnt say no:mad: I always look at the books though as Delia can usually be found for 50p and a hardback too:cool:0 -
Dear rog
A robin is a small bird with a red breast that likes to make its nest in Lula's shed
NB - Rog - a bonnet is the lid at the front of the car & not something worn on old ladies heads:rotfl:
Are you casting aspersions as to my intelligence, L-H?
My great grandmother never wore the front end of a mini on her head, but her duffel coat did have a hood  - perhaps the fact that she was born in Canada might go some way to explaining that.:think:

I only just got the washing in, &, it started (true to form) drizzling here about 10 minutes ago - and it's quite steady now so I didn't want to incur the wrath of mrs rog2 two days running.
Thanks for the invitation to 'casser la croute' - there is nothing nicer ( I mean alimentary wise) than bread straight out of the oven. :drool:I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. Hi everybody.
Over the last few weeks we have had a number of "troll" attacks on the boards.
What is a Troll? A troll is a person that posts deliberately provocative, nasty or hurtful comments on threads. They may be a person with no previous connection to the board or someone that has created a pseudonym to get their point made.
If you should get a comment made on any thread you post asking for help and advice please realise this comment is not directed at you personally.
We really are all a lovely bunch here (oops, modest, sorry) so please ignore these nasty comments and continue to post here as normal.
what should i do if i get a comment made on my thread?
firstly do not respond to the comment as this invariably is what the person wants. At the bottom of the post, on the left hand side is a red "warning" triangle. Click this and then "send" the message that comes up. This will report the message to abuse who will review it's content and delete it.
The person we had this morning was particularly vile and nasty and please believe me is an extreme rarity here.
Above all PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE THE BOARDS. THIS SITE IS AN ASSET TO SO MANY, ESPECIALLY WHEN IT FEELS THE WORLD IS FALLING IN ON YOU. THERE IS SUCH A WEALTH OF ADVICE HERE TO BE HAD THAT THE COMMENTS OF ONE MUST NOT DETER YOU FROM AVAILING YOURSELF OF THE KNOWLEDGE HERE!!!!
It is testament to the work that martin has done and continues to do that so many people give their time knowledge and experience freely to others, without judgement, to lift people out of the depths of debt crisis
PLEASE DO NOT LET THE ACTIONS OF THE MINORITY RUIN THAT.
Kind wishes
P
