Looking at those piggies with woolly jumpers made me think of a lovely programme that I used to watch when I was a lot younger than I am now. I am sure Wol would enjoy it:rotfl:

Are you casting aspersions as to my intelligence, L-H?

    Mais non, absolument non :kisses3:

My great grandmother never wore the front end of a mini on her head, but her duffel coat did have a hood  - perhaps the fact that she was born in Canada might go some way to explaining that.

    You're very funny :rotfl:

My friend has had the baby but we're not speaking anymore :(

Really sorry to hear that, emily - hope it's nothing that can't be sorted.

Good to see you back, though - how is your husband?

C'est pas un 'secret' - je veux seulement que les francais n'en savent rien. ;)

    Hi Emily

Why has your friend fallen out with you? Is it her hormones do you think:confused:

She had the baby on Thuyrdsay night. I was there with her all day since 2.45am & went to see her on Friday & Saturday. I stayed with her on Saturday & Sunday nights and ran myself ragged going to the shops for her & helping with the baby. I'm on my period, am really arguing with DH & developed a cold yesterday. I needed my single duvet back which I'd left at her house, so I texted her saying I'd collect it in an hour. She didn't text me back & when I got there she said she'd never recieved the text. I was just going to go because I didn't want to be around the baby with my cold, but her dad said he was going in 2 minutes & he'd give me a lift as he only lives around the corner from me. Basically we both got irritable & it escalated into a row, with her swearing at me & saying that I didn't care about my godson's health. I went home & after thinking about it texted her to apologise. She was still going on at me even though I tried to explain what a rough patch I'm going through. I think I feel rubbish & she's tired & hormonal. But I've been there for her so much since she's been preganat; going to antenatal with her, scans, midwives appointments, even being there at the birth. She rang me at midnight on Saturday saying please could I stay with her as she was feeling ill. And I did. And this is the thanks I get? I'm not a doormat. I said maybe we could do with some breathing space & she agreed.
Sorry for the rant but this has really upset me & I'm still not getting on with DH, in fact we may be splitting up :(
