Thanks for that linky H :T
Numpty - now is the ideal time to learn to cook, while you have a bit of spare time on your hands.
I'm absolute rubbish at anything that doesnt involve a roast dinner, pasta & sauce or cakes & biccies - but who cares :rotfl:I can grow food & now just need a man who can cook it all for me ... Yooo hooo James Martin, I'm over here0 -
Bump
Anyone can cook biscuits Numpty - even you. They are simple, don't need any special equipment and don't cost a lot. Those ones Horace posted look easy but twinks hobnobs are even easier - go on try them!:D

just received a recorded delivery letter from renault to say that my beloved clio is one of those I saw on watchdog a while back .... the ones whose bonnet "may" open whilst driving :eek::eek: off to book a free checking appointment with dealer right away0 -
Numpty - all Delia's recipes work, they are easy to follow and the thing that you cook looks like the photo in the book. Go to your charity shop and look in the book section - look for Delia's One is Fun - that has lots of easy recipes that feed one or more people. Even her How to Cheat at Cooking is good too because she uses a variety of tins and packets and Aunt Bessies' products are rated by Delia:cool: Now is the time to learn...so go and your pinny on and get cracking.
Lula - hope your clio gets sorted out:eek:0 -
hope todays as nice as yesterday..

Duly noted: we will make sure Numpty get's some cooking lessons while he's darn sarf:rotfl::rotfl:....but after we've played "despatch the rat" (it was making a nest in the rubbish bag this morning- just saw it's tail sticking out ...and it was quite large long tail :eek:..i.e. a full grown mature rat......:eek::eek:.....so I put my welllies on and went out and hit the bag with a broom and it scurried off underneath the shed....
All packed Numpty?

Wol - your rats are probably coming from the stream, I think your local council might be able to put some bait out for them:eek: No point in hitting it with a broom - the idea is to kill it and not let it run away so bash it on the head with a shovel, if only my grandma was alive - she would despatch it for you:D Me, I have one of those traps called Little Nipper - or when I had a rodent living in my flat then I had a Large Nipper (mind the only thing it caught was my fingers...nasty springy thing:eek:).
Note to self - when next in village visit the charity shops to get a book for Numpty0 -

Bump from the top of 2.
Don't envy the rat problem - I had a mouse in the house last year the cat brought it in alive (and then appeared to be frightened of it) and it took me 2 weeks to catch the blighter. I started with the nice humane catchers and ended up on the nastiest looking trap I could find. Little sod nibbled holes in 2 skirting boards just like in a tom n jerry cartoon.
