A Wednesday early morning PAD of £1.13
My back is to the wall at the moment.
The work that comes in is often "jam tomorrow" and won't start for a few months. The work I lose is instant. In the last week Ilost work worth about 5 grand a year - ouch !!. I can compete with anyone in my chosen work when the playing field is level but I can't compete with people who do it behind the taxman's back - some of whom get benefits.
I pay tax which helps some people get child tax credits and some of them use those credits to undercut me. Pretty galling really.
I don't have a problem with subsidising people who need it. It's part of how our society works and I accept that we don't want families on the street for being poor. However, I do object when that money is used to undercut my business.
I'm working solidly for a week or so before I get into and slacker spell. I will go door knocking again when I get to that point. I've not needed to do that for many years.0 -
Morning all!
Paulgonnabedebtfree I hope things pick up for you soon...
My PAD is £3.31 today. I used a chunk of my PAD money yesterday, so I'm back to slowly building it back up again. At least it's payday next week which usually means I can afford to pay in a lump of money to savings0 -
Morning, grey & horrible here this morning . . . enough to drive you back under the duvet . . .
So it's a rather more cheerful £4.88 off the EVIL EGG Card
Have a great day y'all be back later if I can shake out any loose change for the pot.DFW NERD# 1175Proud Member of Sealed Pot Challenge #5 ~ 1479 cashless_wonder~*DEBT FREE & LOVING IT*~0 -
