    Hi Folks

    £5 for my PAd today.

Terri yes thanks a lovely day being pampered. Getting used to the shorter hair although my partner says its more like 14 inches shorter not 5 :rotfl:I was never any good at measurements lol.

Managed to get my shoes for the wedding in August I am going to so that is my outfit complete - hoorah. Only got to save for the pressie and the drinks in the evening and thats us all done and not a penny on the credit cards - wayhay.

Hope everyone is enjoying this glorious weather. managed to get another two loads of washing done. I am currently washing the next age group of clothes for DS to wear as he turns 5 in a few weeks, as well as doing my normal washing. In now have a mountain of ironing and I did two hours ironing today and yesterday:eek:. Oh well maybe do another couple of hours this evening whilst watching a Lewis I taped a few weeks ago.

    Have a good evening all.

    Hello Everyone

Welcome to the newbies, hello to the oldies

I have not been around for a while as trying to catch up on life, housework, garden etc etc

    First the good news

My DOH qualified as a higher level badminton coach at the weekend, so £350 coming our way which we did not know about as his club is going to pay.

DSS is off to Sicily in July for a badminton training academy - too good an opportunity to pass so he is now trying to save for his spending money - I will believe it when I see it. His birthday is just before so have asked friends who usually give him cash if they would mind doing euros instead.

We have booked a tour of Scotland in our motorhome for the same time, 12 days for £200, plus petrol and spending and no DSS :D, much as I love him. Can you guess where the petrol and spending money is coming from?
As a hint to DOH I have sent for the Gretna Green brochure in his name :D

Then the not so good news

Gas and electricity supplier have c*cked up the monthly DD by setting it too low, I knew they had so not a total surprise.
Over £700 of bills to pay for 6 months, but as paying by continuous DD do not need to pay straight away.

PAD for today to make up for the missing in action days

    £958.89

I hope you are all well and enjoying the sunshine

F-F I am looking for hints of things to do around Moffat, Oban, Inverness, Fort William and Luss.

    So far got

    Shopping in Moffat
    Distilllery in Oban
Loch Ness - staying at the side of the Loch
Ben Nevis - staying at the foot
Loch Lomond - staying at the side of the Loch, although the man who did the booking said it is so wet at the moment we might be staying in the Loch:eek:. Better pack those wet suits.

Speak to you all again soon and hoping to be here more regularly.

    Love
    Gilly x

£15.00 to Barclaycard but if they don't fix their online payments system soon then I'm going to stop giving them my pad...So if Mr Barclaycard is reading this, please fix it soon as I don't wanna run up a huge phone bill trying to pay my card

    Hi angelicmary,
I spent ages on te phone to them the other day. Gave up when they suggested it was my computer:mad: so I'm having to phone daily as well. As I'm so close to finishing this one I have to grit my teeth and put up with it. Trouble is my next PAD will also be to barclaycard:mad:
    Jo x[/QUOTE]

It's so hard though to accept having to phone them but I'm goingto send the payments through my current account instead, hopefully it won't be long til they fix it!!

    Hey Gilly,

    When are you visiting?

Not too sure what to suggest for Moffat but clicky for info!

Oban - distillery is good as is the local sealife place. You can take boat trips to see the seals if memory serves, lovely scenery

Loch Ness - Urquhart Castle is a ruined castle on the loch which is nice. Clicky for info! I'm biased with being from the islands, but try and make time to visit Skye :D

Loch Lomond isn't my cup of tea (Neither is Loch Ness tbh) as it's awfy touristy. Drive from there to Inverary though and you will be rewarded with a lovely drive and yummy seafood. And an old jail. And the biggest f**king seagulls in the world. They terrorise tourists for chips :D:D

Have a lovely time though, and if you're in a motorhome pull over regularly to let the scary local drivers past. We get very impatient with tourists!!

Hello everyone! Just a little £1.12 for me today.

I have a huge list of things that I need to do but I just can't be bothered to do them, anybody got any suggestions on how you motivate yourselves? Usually I'm pretty good at getting things done and a list helps me because I can cross things off - but just recently I have been so lazy! I should have gone to the gym but I haven't, I've got an assignment to write but I can't be bothered to do it, someone give me a virtual slapping please!!

    xx
